Hello there, NTWFers! I just found out that today, August 24th, is the Artist's Day! I'm not sure if it's international, but it is an official date here in Brazil...so why not share the joy of artist's day in one of the most artistic sites I know?


Happy day to you writer, painter, musician, photographer, cook, carpenter and any other kind of artsy people out there!

Happy artist's day, NTWF!

My first inspiration was Naoko Takeuchi. When I was a kid I loved Sailor Moon so much, and I thought being able to create a Manga was the coolest thing in the world. So I started drawing in the anime/manga style that dominated all my TV viewing at the time.

Over the years I've had a lot of inspiration from friends who are amazing artists, most currently my close friends on the NTWF Neoboard. *squishes Akane and Buizel and all my awesome artsy friends there*

Happy Artist's Day, guys! ^^

Heh, my first inspiration was this little puppet in second grade. It was a chocolate lab named Henry, and every week I would write a short story about Super Henry or something dorky like that. ^_^
