Yeah, I dunno how to do that. You'd have to get Lee or someone to do that. Hm, I'm thinking Larissa might be a more reliable witness, actually. Sanry has a tendency of not being straightforward. :I And I'd hate to have to interrogate another one of those. Lead the way, then? ONWARD HO *leads the way* *eventually, we arrive in a lobby of some sort* *Larissa is there, talking to Aiiro* ...that I do not claim to understand. All I know is I'm never leaving this wand alone again! *clings to wand defensively* LARISSA and POSSIBLY AIIRO, we are here to ask questions >U Huh? Oh! Hi, A.G... who are those other people? The name's Detective Gumshoe, pal! I, uh, I'm Apollo. Larissa, I presume? Uh-huh! Larissa Jeniver! --- *eventually walks into a lobby, separate from the one the others are in* Hey, do you— ... ...No one's here. Could've sworn... *mumbles something and continues into another hallway*

*Appears next to Apollo suddenly* Hallo, Larissa. …What are you even doing here? I have a few requests to ask from the expert. There's an investigation going on, though. *Holds his hands behind his back* I'm aware of that. If I can help any further I will. *Slight wave to PFA*

Well, I guess we could ask both. :U
We're investigating a few cases of theft. Possibly including your wand, Larissa. And-- ! Oh, hi Kristoph. Requests?
--
Datalia: *Raises an eyebrow at Merritt checking a room in the side before continuing to follow him. If the door is still open, she takes a quick glance into the lobby quickly to see if anything important is in there.*

Hey 'Stoph. :U Requests of what sort? Um, kind of in the middle of something. Yeah, um... *turns to Larissa* We heard something about a wand theft? Yeah! Yesterday! That pirate guy tried to steal my wand! I see— wait what --- *There's no door into the lobby, it's an open doorway. The lobby has a couple easy chairs, both of which face the center of the room. There are pictures on the wall, which appear to depict artwork from Villain Week. There does not seem to be anything else of note in the room.* *turns a corner*

The pirate guy, you said? Could you elaborate further? -- Datalia: (Interesting paintings... No matter. I have to keep up with him.) *She leaves the doorway and continues to follow Merritt. She keeps walking quietly and peeks around the corner when she reaches it.*

And which pirate, Larissa? There are a lot of them around here. Can you describe them to us?

*perks up a little when Kristoph mentions fireworks* Fireworks? I like fireworks! Can we discuss that afterward? <_> Yeah, okay. It was the pirate guy who I see around here sometimes. Captain Merritt, yes. i don't even I was here talking with her *gestures to Aiiro* and Gloria when I noticed the wand was gone. When we couldn't find it, I thought Sanry had taken it. We searched diligently for that wand. It is very important to Larissa, and I understand it is a treasured artifact as well. Yeah. While they were looking, I tried to get Sanry to give it back, but he didn't even know it had gone missing. Then we came back and started looking for it some more... And then, while I was looking, the pirate guy showed up and he had the wand! He started teasing me about it and wouldn't give it back! So how did you get it back? Actually, Sanry convinced him to give it back to me. I thought that was weird. I think he said it was because we were outside of the timeline or something? Huh. And... when was this, again? Yesterday. ...The same day the dice were stolen. Now I'm confused, pal. Someone has some 'splainin' to do :I --- *Merritt continues looking through the building for a while, apparently trying to find someone. Eventually he stops in a hallway full of doors, which seem to be blocked off by barriers* ...Must be busy. Ah well, I'll ask him later... *turns and starts heading back the way he came*

Well then... He stole your wand? I guess it was shiny, and made of precious metals... Good thing you two got it back. Have you seen him do anything else? And have you heard anything about dice?
---
Datalia: *Has been diligently following Merritt when she sees Merritt stop in front of barriers.* (So whoever he's looking for must have magic... Who was he looking for?) *When she starts to see him turn around, she darts as quickly but quietly as she can to a nearby empty room or alcove.*
((Which, of course, makes a bit more noise than walking quietly behind him. Up to you if he hears it.))

It's a legendary artifact that people from my world have tried to find for years. It would probably be worth a lot of money. So him trying to steal it would make sense. Though I am uncertain what prompted him to do so now. ...Dice? I don't know anything about dice. Sorry. (Okay, two thefts of powerful magical items from the same guy in one day? There is definitely something strange about this.)--- ((um *rolls dice* [dice=10])) ? *glances around briefly, trying to figure out if he heard something* ... *shrugs it off and continues*[rand=199207808007829673813163337883114607425336226049815080241846152365]

What would prompt him to do so now... Hmm... Larissa, what kind of powers does your wand have? And would Merritt know anything about those powers?
--
((Not 20 sided?))
Datalia: *Hides by the door of an empty room, trying to keep her breathing down. As soon as Merritt passes, she waits for Merritt to gain some distance before sneaking after him again.*

It's the wand of the great sorceress Sesrina. I'm not sure what it's not capable of. ...Maybe Sanry told him about it? I dunno. --- ((I considered a d20, but in RCIs I seem more likely to do d10s. I dunno why. XD;)) *seems to be bored now, trying to decide what to do while waiting* *basically, not really doing anything interesting now*

Hmm. I bet if you don't know, he probably doesn't either. Though I guess we could ask Sanry, though I'm not sure how many conclusions we'll get from that confrontation.
--
((Huh. I never considered d10s for RCIs. xD I guess I could see it though, since d20s can be rather restrictive in interpretation in some cases.))
Datalia: *Watches him for some time.* (I don't think he's going to do anything for a while... And I want to know what that barrier is about.) *She sneaks away in the other direction, heading towards the barrier where Merritt stopped.*

If you talk to Sanry, be careful, okay? He might get mad, and he's scary when he's mad. I... see. We'll keep that in mind. Hey, maybe I could sniff out the scents on that wand? If this guy really took it, then his scent will be all over it. Not that I don't believe you, but y'know, evidence. Speaking of evidence, a wand would probably be easier to lift fingerprints from than dice. --- ((I think when I think of d20s, I think of D&D rules, and then I think of will saves and such, and I don't know how to calculate all that so I just do an "it's this much successful" d10 and call it good. XD)) *she backtracks to the hallway, where she finds a number of doors. As earlier, some of the doors are blocked off by barriers, although one of the barriers seems to be stronger than the others currently*

I'll keep that in mind.
Yeah, I'm thinking that the scent tracking and fingerprinting might not be necessary if we already know who took it and all due to eyewitness testimony. ...On the other hand, we don't know what happened to the wand in-between, if anything. And the scent tracking might lead us to evidence on the dice, depending on where he took it.
--
Datalia: *Examines the barriers closely, as well as the type of things inside the rooms.* (I wish I knew more about magic. Just enough to see what type of magic this is... Maybe he was going to whoever did this because of our questions on the dice... I should find out. Hmm...) *She takes out a dagger and touches the tip to the strongest barrier.*
