Huh? Look, the spirit guy believes me! (...But now I'm confused. If there's no logical reason for him to have the dice... then why did he?)

Huh? Look, the spirit guy believes me! (...But now I'm confused. If there's no logical reason for him to have the dice... then why did he?) Well, I wouldn't put it past you if it profited you, though that would be a very dangerous move to make.
Jason says hi by the way. He's off somewhere helping keep order at a large sports tournament, so he can't be here himself, but he wanted to talk to you again at some point.
Would there be any reason for any of the spirits to frame him? Other than boredom, that is.

Datalia: Maybe it has no material value, sure, but dice like what she has could be used to get more gold. But yeah, you're right, we could've been less up-front. (That's what I was trying to do, though he wasn't giving me much to go on...) But there could always be something we don't know about.
I can't think of any reason... Unless it's just to throw us off track and the perpetrator just chose a random one who was likely to steal. But how many spirits know Merritt?

…The story about how he got his hat and met his wife made him rather famous.

It's never needed to be :I ...Well then. Datalia: Maybe it has no material value, sure, but dice like what she has could be used to get more gold. …The story about how he got his hat and met his wife made him rather famous. Ha! Thanks, I was proud of that one! (I feel like we're going in circles. We need more clues, and fast...)

Personally I'd be more concerned about how dangerously angry Fräulein Franziska was, but that's just me.

Datalia: So you're rather famous. Wonder why I've never heard of you... I'll take their word on your fame, though. ...Hey, Merritt, do you have anywhere we can look for possible clues? Any leads at all? You know, to help clear your name. (Though you're still highest on my list, mister.)

What about Franziska?)Datalia: So you're rather famous. Wonder why I've never heard of you... (Though you're still highest on my list, mister.) No clue, sorry. Good luck with it though, eh? Well... I'm confused now. Now what? Hm... you know, there is one other thing I'm curious about. The girl downstairs was saying us something about a wand being stolen? Do you know anything about that? Oh, yeah. That was definitely Sanry. He's obsessive about that thing. (...I really have no idea if this guy is telling the truth or not anymore...)

Datalia: *Shares a look with Apollo.* ...Well, I guess we could question him about that. Though the girl did say that she got it back.
Mmm. Something about this is not right. :/

Yeah, I'm sure she fought him for it. She's pretty obsessive about it, too. Yeah, I have bad feels still :I Well, we may have to go elsewhere for now. Suggestions?

((Guess whose internet dropped just as they click send?))
I guess we could find Sanry and question them. Though I'm starting to be not so sure about this myself... At least it'll help us find any connection between the dice theft and the wand theft.
Datalia: Yeah, let's go do that. Nice to meet you, Merritt. *She starts walking away. Once out of earshot of Merritt, she asks the group:* Want me to watch him for a while and eavesdrop, just to be sure?

((Oh dear XD;)) Yeah, I guess we might as well. :I Any ideas where he is, Merritt? Stormed off back home in a huff, last I saw. ...i see thank you Don't mention it. *waves and heads off* *walks off with the others* Yeah, that may possibly be a good idea :I

Hmm, that doesn't give us many leads. :/
Datalia: Alright then. We'll meet in the lobby, or I'll find you eventually. *She gives Merritt a bit of a head start before sneaking off after him.*
I guess we keep looking around.

Well, I can probably find pretty much anyone we want to talk to. :I Like Sanry or Larissa, if we want to find out about the wand thing. Personally, I'm curious about any spirits that might have been involved in this, but I'm not sure how to go about finding that out. I dunno, pal, but if you need me to sniff out any trails... --- *heads down the hall* *pauses momentarily, as if remembering something* ... *heads further down the hall*

Hmm, I'm not sure if you can sniff out spirit trails Gumshoe... I remember we either used other spirits or a special device for things like that. And the spirits thing... I think we need more answers first. And aside from Dat stalking Gumshoe, Sanry or Larissa are some other close leads, assuming the wand and the dice are connected.

Datalia: *Always keeps a good distance behind Merritt, keeping as quiet as possible and moving into alcoves or standing in an adjacent hallway when possible. She stops when Merritt stops, and then continues to follow him when he moves again.*
