*pops in for a little bit* Mmm, animal videos Night I've never had an urge to godmode. I wonder what that feels like. Well, I probably have a broader definition of the term 'godmode' than you. XD A lot of people define it differently, ranging from controlling someone else's character, to having a crazy-ultra-powered character, to doing something that's impossible (or at least fairly improbable) for your character to do, to plain non sequitor (e.g. "you hit a cardboard cut-out of me"). My tends to be a combination of those and can often include somewhat lesser versions of those. Basically anything that might involve taking advantage of glitches or cheat codes/hacks if it were in a video game. I'd say it's been around 8 years since I've really wanted to do anything major, though lesser stuff pops up once in awhile. Basically, if I feel I'm leaning too much toward something, I roll a die. I may also sometimes use 'prepares to do this' or 'this might happen/have happened' to try to keep from definitely doing something. And yeah, in my case, I'd say usually tends to stem from favoring my character too much. Anyway... </ramble> I picture Chive's species vegging out as their brains are filled with stimulation and unable to process much else at the time. XD My definition of godmoding is pretty limited, since I'd had to deal with all sorts of people who would fit into your list. Name calling never gets a raid done, you just have to adapt to their 'style'. Basically if they refuse to acknowledge any of your attacks getting through while insisting they are pounding you/ your character, they're godmoding and it's time for your battle pet to challenge theirs in the Battle Dome. People like that usually have put little effort towards, well, anything, and die with one move. Shh, Omni, that's my evil plot you're revealing to the whole wide world!

Yay icon c: I shall start doing that too. Hrm :T I don't get it, do they think other people aren't going to notice? Now sleep xp That guy's a hero, yo Indeed icon. It's fun uvu I think they think other people will notice, I donno :U Well, I probably have a broader definition of the term 'godmode' than you. I have roleplayed for more than 12 years. I know there are various forms of godmoding, from 'bunnying' to 'seagulling', and even 'powerplay' and 'artful dodger'.Another red truth: Even if I like my characters, no matter what, I try to be realistic. I prefer to respect my character and their limits, as well as respect the opposing characters and their limits. Just because I like my character doesn't mean I will disrespect them, the roleplay, and such by wanting to 'have the advantage'.Yes, I have never felt the urge to roleplay. Yes, I understand one can sometimes favor their character. No, I have never godmodded, even before I made my own system to fully avoid it. I've never heard the terms bunnying, seagulling, or artful dodger. The last one sounds self-explanatory. I've been rping for 12 years as well c:

So dad tells me having strawberry shortcake with extended family is an annual thing. I thought we just liked to sometimes have strawberry shortcake at parties. Ooh! Strawberries! Yes, I have never felt the urge to roleplay. Methinks you made a bit of an error. I'm actually trying to not assume on several levels. We haven't known each-other for long, and I'd rather not assume you know things and then have it turn out you don't. Explaining things is my 'just in case.' I dunno how long I've really been roleplaying. I guess you could say I've probably been doing it at least in some mild form (playing with dolls and having them be the characters) for as long as I remember. I think my RP tastes matured as I did. XD

I picked a good time to get back into Neopets, I only had to pay 1.2 mil for it :'> ...which still took me a fair but of saving, but it's pretty cheap for what it is ashdgjsd Haha, yes you did. Very good time. Ah, back when I first played Neopets, I always wanted a Krawk. XD I actually meant urge to godmode, whoops. Hm, why'd I make that error? Could be that I was hungry, hm. You assumed by saying 'Well, I probably have a broader definition of the term 'godmode' than you', which is an assumption. I therefore had to correct it, yes? You could have stated 'this is what I define as godmoding, what is your definition?', Which would have been a clarification on your standpoint and a querie on mine. Just a thought P: If you mean roleplaying in general, then I've been doing it since I was four. That makes it 17 years. I remember the friend I used to play pretend with would always sort of godmode and powerplay, and I tried to go along with it, hahaha- On another note, I've never had a strawberry shortcake. The most I've had of strawberry on a pastry would be strawberry pie! I've never heard the terms bunnying, seagulling, or artful dodger. The last one sounds self-explanatory. I've been rping for 12 years as well c: I know you haven't XD You told me back when I told you of them. They are terms used by certain roleplaying sites to classify types of godmoding. I often see seagulling among new RPers, as well as bunnying.
