Well, I probably have a broader definition of the term 'godmode' than you. XD A lot of people define it differently, ranging from controlling someone else's character, to having a crazy-ultra-powered character, to doing something that's impossible (or at least fairly improbable) for your character to do, to plain non sequitor (e.g. "you hit a cardboard cut-out of me"). My tends to be a combination of those and can often include somewhat lesser versions of those. Basically anything that might involve taking advantage of glitches or cheat codes/hacks if it were in a video game. I'd say it's been around 8 years since I've really wanted to do anything major, though lesser stuff pops up once in awhile. Basically, if I feel I'm leaning too much toward something, I roll a die. I may also sometimes use 'prepares to do this' or 'this might happen/have happened' to try to keep from definitely doing something. And yeah, in my case, I'd say usually tends to stem from favoring my character too much. Anyway... </ramble> You assume too much, Omni. *yawns* Red truth: I know what godmoding is. I have roleplayed for more than 12 years. I know there are various forms of godmoding, from 'bunnying' to 'seagulling', and even 'powerplay' and 'artful dodger'.Another red truth: Even if I like my characters, no matter what, I try to be realistic. I prefer to respect my character and their limits, as well as respect the opposing characters and their limits. Just because I like my character doesn't mean I will disrespect them, the roleplay, and such by wanting to 'have the advantage'.Yes, I have never felt the urge to roleplay. Yes, I understand one can sometimes favor their character. No, I have never godmodded, even before I made my own system to fully avoid it. Okay, jumping in here to head this off before it becomes any bigger. Please keep your tone in check. There's no need to reply that way, as Omni was only explaining her own standpoint on the matter which she's entirely within her rights to do. This is exactly what we're saying cannot continue on the Taco, and really needs to be brought to PM or dropped altogether. Thanks.

Hm? I meant no offense, I meant to clarify. Omni stated her standpoint, but assumed my own. I merely told her that I am highly aware of the meaning of godmoding and its various branches. Red truth was verification of my standpoint? I suppose people would see it as agressive if they didn't know what it was?
I am unsure as to where you got the offensive tone from. Man, I'm tired.
That moment when people think you're being aggressive about something. Tones don't carry over in the internet, after all.

Fair enough. Barely masked aggression has been far too much of a constant in the Taco and it's something that really needs to stop, so that may have been shading my interpretation of your post.
I was sensing some irritation in your posts with Omni's continued discussion, and I just wanted to make sure a fight wasn't brewing because of it. That's all.

Yo, I can understand your view of things, but half the reason things pop up here is because people assume tonality, being as tones do not carry over the internet unless you do something like, um '/sarcasm' or '/playful' or something. Still, I'd find it nice if people didn't assume my tone was agressive half the times I posted. No, really, my tone is usually neutral, bordering on 'I want to sleep and forget I have six projects due in less than a month; hello guys, here's my post, bye'. =u= I can agree that things blow up at the taco, but there's explosions everywhere and blahblah. Case in point: I didn't mean it that way, but I can understand why you thought I did.

I will now regret that I never installed MySQLWorkBench until now. Then again, the Database project last year was done by a friend's boyfriend because he decided that instead of helping us he'd do it by himself. THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T EXPERIENCE AS MUCH DATABASE STUFF, BRO, WHY DID YOU DO THAT? /dramatic sobbing of fakeness Oh well, time to work on it to design the databases for that video-uploading website I have to do. Slacker IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAYYYY /more dramatic sobs and flailing.
