This is a Public Service Announcement[/u]
NTWFers, beware! There is a new disease going around and apparently, it has figured out how to spread via the internet. Not smallpox, not malaria, not even athletes foot but the dreaded...
Pigeon Plague!*[/size]
* Pigeon Plague has no relation to bird flu.
The Pigeon Plague is a nasty, horrific and debilitating disease. Symptoms include cooing, pecking at stray food, flapping your wings and bobbing your head, being drawn to urban areas, perching where you shouldn't be and of course, soiling the heads of passer's-by from the rooftops.
Currently, two people have been infected. For reasons of privacy, they shall remain anonymous. Right now, they are manifesting only the cooing symptom but we do not know how bad it is going to get. Rest assured they have been quarantined.
These two people have at one point or another been in contact with a certain forumer, one who does not manifest the symptoms but is herself a carrier. Stay alert for a moderator named Celestial and if you see her, do not approach. Do not make eye contact. Call the local Disease Control department. Walk away, lock your doors and stay in your home.
If we are not careful, the pigeon plague can mean the end of civilisation as we know it. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizen can protect themselves from this deadly outbreak. Rest assured our top scientists are working on a vaccine and a cure and our best men are on the lookout for the notorious carrier.
We now resume our normal programming.

If the only two victims that exhibit symptoms are exhibiting only one symptom (cooing), how do you know about the later symptoms (pecking, flapping, bobbing)? Is there some kind of cover-up that you're not telling us about?

*puts on cat ears to scare infected people away*
Hmmm...maybe a cat cure could solve the problem! (gathers catkins, cattails and catnip)
