Hello NTWF,
If I may, I'd just like to say something to you all. It's not because I have to say it but it's because I would like to say it. You see, something important happened to me this year; something involving you guys.
Once I was nothing more than a lurker who came to this forum uninvited. I was a loner who was very timid and I didn't think I would make any real friends here. This year, despite my anxieties of being rejected from the forum, I tried to get involved in forum events. Contrary to what I feared, you guys didn't shun me, mock me, or leave me out of the crowd; you guys accepted me as an awesome individual and in the course of a few months, I have gone from a lonesome lurker to a beloved friend and influential member of the forum. At this time last year, I could not have imagined that this year would have turned out so beneficial to me; I didn't know I would make so much progress in my social life and make so many friends here. It's not just by my efforts that I have gotten this far; the reason why I am here today is because of you. There is only one thing I can say to you all for everything you've done for me, and that is this:
You guys have supported me, talked to me, enjoyed my comics, complimented me with the most amazing compliments, and invited me into your social groups. Overall, you have made me feel special and loved; I am very glad I found this place and that you all are such caring members. I love you guys; you have made me so happy and have helped me grow in so many ways. I could do many great things for you guys and still be unable to repay you for all the great things you have done for me. I know these two little words are not much, but they're the best way to show you how grateful I am to be your friend and to have friends like you guys. I look forward to the next year and to all the amazing things that will transpire in the days to come. 2011 was a rather difficult year for me, but if I was given the chance, I would go through the entire year again just to re-experience the great things that have happened on the NTWF.
So, once again, thank you for everything you have done for me during the course of the last year. There are just so many things I have to thank you all for that I do not have the time to write them all into one post; so in the days so come, I'm going to post special thank you messages to everyone who's done something for me during my time in the NTWF. I am glad to be a part of this great community; you guys are just so awesome! <3
