Not exactly on the Banter board nor the Positive spin because...well, admitting your fears is hard but good at the same time, and fun when doing with friends, right? :3 I have what I like to call a "party phobia", I love having small parties with my friends, with games and candy, or dinning out... ...but I absolutely hate huge teen parties! >.< First because the point of the night is "boys gotta make out with as many girls they can and vice versa or get drunk" and that's just gross and I feel under pressure, and everything feels pointless and stupid to my eyes. Let's just say it's a mixture of fear, pressure and hatred... AND I am scared of thunders as well, I can't control it! I don't scream or anything, but when I hear the thunder, or worse, when I feel it's impact, I feel as if my heart is being crushed. It doesn't affects my life style much, but I don't find it very pleasant... What about you guys? Any fears you'd like to share?

Heights and house centipedes. I know they're good little predators that eat pest insects but if I see one I feel all squicky and won't put my feet on the floor.
Nothing else come to mind, though I'm sure there are other things.

I have a morbid fear of spider webs. It's just that horrible sticky, silken feeling of a single strand brushing against open skin.
It's ironic because I love spiders.

One of my more abnormal fears is my fear of paint. The thing about paint that scares me the most is the fact that it is extremely difficult to get off once it dries, particularly on things like fabric; so my real fear is getting paint on something and not being able to get it off. I can't go near paint cans or wet paint without getting overanxious and I'm always taking long showers when I do. It's a real stupid phobia I have that I really would like to get rid of if I could.
Other than that, my more traditional phobias include the fear of heights, public speaking, and hypodermic needles (medical shots).

Heights XD especially if you're somewhere high up and it's open. If you're behind a window it's ok.
I'm really paranoid about people hiding behind doors and jumping out XD; Whenever I enter a room, especially my bedroom, I check behind the door.

Oh my gosh, this. I could go into a whole, terrified rant about it if I had to. For more irrational fears, I'd have to say needles. I shudder even at the though of them.

This as well. Now that you mentioned it, Sq...I simply despise men who rape women. Hatred.

Losing the people I love. AGREED. I also have a fear of going blind. Not being able to see anything would be scary for me. D:

I have a fear of damage to my eyes and hands, both in the squicky, visceral sense and the idea of what I'd have to live with afterward. I'm sure I'd figure out some way to continue writing without them, but it's a terrifying thought. I also have a mild fear of damaging my ankles, probably because I've fallen and twisted them a rather absurd number of times. I like wearing tall boots for this reason--it gives me a (probably totally artificial) sense that a weak spot has been armored. xD Also on the list: insects, falls, home invasions, and newborn baby birds (when their eyes are still closed and they look impossibly gross. ><

Other than SOPA(Which looks less and less likely to pass, given how every citizen hates it), my fears are: Tornadoes. There's just something more terrifying about a tornado to me than a hurricane, even though I live in hurricane alley. Getting attacked by a dog. I'm a cat person, and even though I love dogs, I still don't want to be bit by one. Apocalyptic scenarios. Things like global warming, a mega-tsunami, or a superplague keep me up at night sometimes. This as well. Now that you mentioned it, Sq...I simply despise men who rape women. Hatred. For me, it'd be someone I love getting raped. I'm the kind of guy who would gladly hunt down anyone who raped someone I loved and deliver justice.

mmm... i'm actually not particularly afraid of anything anymore. there are things that disturb me, but i don't really find myself scared of anything until i'm confronted by it. i mean there are horrible things like murder and burglary and whatnot but unless a burglar has me at gunpoint, i don't fear them.
i'd say the biggest fear i may have once had was probably the state of nothingness which is believed by some to exist after death. not being able to see or feel or hear anything, not being able to move or even possessing a physical form capable of mobility, not being able to think or dream or be--or even just losing one of the more important senses, like sight or hearing. that frightened me endlessly. i can't bear the thought of being deaf or blind, so much of my world revolves around music and laughter and writing and beautiful things.
i got over that though. i am a fearless warrior.
