-nervous- This is my first year to try this, and this will be my first time writing anything this big. My writing skills.... fall flat... but I'm hoping to improve them. I don't write much, but writing is what I want to do with my life, so I need to get better at it, and to get better at it I have to write. -rambles about nothing of relevance-
So, outlines and planned plots and fleshed out characters are boring, some I am basically winging it. It is basically going to be a jumble of sentences that don't really go together. Yay? Yay!
Oh.. I am so gonna fail. My muse is a jerk.
Anyway, I have a few ideas, no scratch that a few characters. I love them so much <3 So I thought might as well use them. Bad thing is that aren't protagonist, that would just not work, but they aren't antagonists either, so I need to get some of those, and find out the reason they are even there, what is there point? Oh, and a plot, a plot would be nice.
OK, I lied, I do have some ideas.
First one is basically a blood fest. So, yeah not many experts if I do that. It's just a really vague idea about assassins, because my amazing characters just happen to be assassins. So, extremely character driven horror story?
Second one doesn't include all my characters, and the ones it does are tweaked. So basically there is this war. A really pointless one, that might change though. So, the two sides had the brilliant idea. They wanted super soldiers, but not in the brawn department, in the brain department. Guess what? Turned out there are plenty geniuses in the world(which I haven't decided whether it is a post-apocalyptic Earth or a different planet/world/dimension) Sad part is, they lack in the brawn department. They can't defend themselves. They fail at war. So they got this idea, get their best soldiers, and pair them up with their geniuses. So essentially they have super soldiers. The soldiers refer to their partners... as well partners, and they become like... and extension of their soul. They get really, really close. It's like their apart of them, and the feeling is mutual. Of course, there is a plot in there somewhere, I have an idea for it, which I think is very cliche', but maybe I can pull it off.
The third idea, angels and demons, because I love angels and demons.
So yeah.... I might put up some character bios, they'll be brief though, the characters still need to be fleshed out. I love them though <3 Too bad in each idea I have some really bad things planned out for them. I need more of them too....
So this month is going to be fun.
Oh yeah, and the title Thicker than Blood, I just really like it, plus it is fits all of my ideas, mainly because of two of my characters, who aren't suppose to be my main characters but are probably going to take over my whole novel. They have a tendency to do that.
