That, was a good honest laugh. Now... Backtrack through your diamond Lapis Lazuli mine You've already gone through all of the other tunnels, so you decide not to do this. Mine the redstone and a few of those nice stone blocks in the walls around you. 9 will suffice. :3 You collect 4 Redstone Dust and 9 Cobblestone. Your item bar is now filled to the brim. You would, but from what you can see, the lava would just flood in and destroy the gold before you could collect it. You decide to leave it be.

Standing carefully on the solid ground, mine the stone block that is sitting above the floor of lava. Stick one of your cobblestone blocks in it to block off the lava on that square. Stand on the cobblestone and mine the gold safely.
