Depth 16 is an interactive game that takes place in the Minecraft universe. To play, simply enter a command for Gem_Seeker to follow, and I will draw (warning: in MS Paint) and post the result. Let's start this. You are Gem_Seeker, and it appears that you have just found DIAMONDS! Oh, if you didn't have this pumpkin stuck on your head, you would mine this block like you've never mined before. With the delicate nature of diamonds, it might be best to figure out how to get this pumpkin off first. You put it on a few hours ago to sneak by a group of Endermen, and it's been stuck ever since. It's starting to smell awful. First, you decide to check your item bar. Then, you will decide what to do next. Since you don't have a super cool backpack, you can only hold items on your item bar. Currently, you have a Stone Sword, Iron Pickaxe, Stone Shovel, two Cooked Porkchops, and 37 torches. This leaves you with four empty slots in your item bar. The V button changes between different views, and the P button... Well, that's never worked for you. You'll probably learn what it does when you need to. What next?

Gem_Seeker, try to delicately use your sword to remove the pumpkin from your head. That is, try to cut enough space for you to get your head out.
EDIT: Ninja'd.

Use stone sword to cut open pumpkin. The thought has occurred to you, but you get the sickening feeling that you would also end up cutting open your head. You refrain from trying this, in respect for your head's togetherness. If this works, stomp on pumpkin. How dare it stick to your head! While it did not work, seeing as you're too much of a chickenduck to use your sword, you decide that you will definitely stomp on this pumpkin after you get it off. Gem_Seeker, try to delicately use your sword to remove the pumpkin from your head. That is, try to cut enough space for you to get your head out. This, however... Now that your brain has put the idea in a more delicate way, you think you could give it a shot. You carefully stick your sword up through the tiny hole and ASASDFHF THE SWORD IS TOUCHING YOUR NECK You quickly pull your sword out and stick it back in your item bar. You are just too squeamish to even consider putting your sword anywhere near your head.

Okay then.
Go rambo! Find a non-diamond encrusted wall and ram it with your head! Just enough to break the pumpkin.

Okay then. Go rambo! Find a non-diamond encrusted wall and ram it with your head! Just enough to break the pumpkin. You smash into the wall, shattering most of the face of the pumpkin. After saying a celebratory "yay!" on the floor, you notice that it feels rather hot. You also hear a strange hissing sound. You wonder if you could get more info on your surroundings from another angle. ((sorry, drew. i only saw your command after finishing GLQ's action and finishing a chore.))

> Inquire about the warmth of the ground - which is far more interesting than diamonds - and diligently dig downwards! RULE 1: NEVER DIG DOWN. Seriously, even though this is your first time mining, you aren't a noob. You do wonder what's up with the ground, though. You stand up, pull out your pickaxe, and push V. Oh. Alright... So there is lava two blocks below you, and a Creeper behind the diamonds. There also appears to be some gold and redstone, but you aren't looking for any of that. So, how will you get rid of the derpy-looking Creeper without destroying the diamonds...?

Examine upwards if there is gravel or better yet: Iron. If you find iron, you could make a bucket, which you could get some lave which could burn the creeper WITH FIRE You look upward, but alas, just stone. No gravel or iron. And even if you find some iron ore, you'll still need a furnace to smelt it into ingots and a crafting table to make the bucket.

> Destroy the block below the diamond block, then attack the Creeper's feet? You think this sounds like an excellent idea. You have now successfully killed the Creeper, and have added one pile of Gunpowder to your inventory. And now, at last... time to get diamonds. Oh, hey, that's awesome! You thought you only got one diamond from a block of ore-- THIS IS LAPIS LAZULI. You can't believe it. You did all this work... for Lapis. What can you even do with Lapis, anyway? Nothing! It's useless! You wonder why Wizard_Notch decided to even invent Lapis Lazuli, anyway. He'd already invented diamonds; isn't one blue gem enough? You find yourself rather disheartened at this turn of events, and decide to eat a porkchop to comfort yourself. What will you do next? You now have one Stone Sword, an Iron Pickaxe, a Stone Shovel, 1 cooked Porkchop, 37 torches, one gunpowder, and 4 Lapis Lazuli. This leaves you with two empty slots in your item bar.
