What do your parents do for a living?

My dad is a psychologist who does counseling out of his own practice. Sometimes he teaches graduate psychology part-time. My mom was in sales before I was born, then was a stay-at-home mom and homeschooled me until I went to private school in 8th grade (the year I joined the NTWF, i think? Or at least the year I remember getting active!) Now she's a librarian at a public library near where we live. Assistant Director, no less. :3 *ish proud of her parents*

So basically, I come from a psych major and an English major... I started out as an English major... and now I'm a psych major. XD I am my parents. They're me.

My grandfather on my mother's side is a farmer, and has been running his farm for the last fifty years or so. He is amazing. My other (late) grandfather was a florist. I hear he was also a pretty cool guy.

My parents have done a lot of stuff, namely involving cars and newspapers and helping people.

Uhhh my sister is an artist, she's pretty good at what she does.

Both of them currently work from home. My dad's a mining consultant, owner of his own business, and he works hard at his desk from morning to midnight, and beyond... but he likes his work and makes a lot of monies. My mum trades stocks. Also she's just finished studying her diploma in law and would really like to find a part-time job at a firm which isn't too far away. She's itching to get back into the workforce now that both me and my brother are out of high school.

My brother works at Towers-Watson. It's a finance-y kind of job, something to do with advising risk and stocks and investment things. He's been there only about a year and has already got a nice pay rise; they must like him. <3

My dad owns a travel company. My mom works retail.

I feel... boring. Ha. I want plane flying, Hazmat suited, prospecting parents. D:

My dad is a self-employed health and safety/chemical engineer, and my mom works at the local elementary school as extra help and is also a flute teacher. My sister is in college for art, but she got a job at Starbucks about a month ago. She likes it a lot and she gets to bring home food when she closes. ^^
