AND HA. FINISHED THE STORY.
... And I rather hate it, and after this shall do my very best to ignore it unless some day I feel the urge to rewrite it - which it deserves, really, there are some good parts. I guess.
And. Yeah.
... That is the least satisfactory ending I have ever written. xD And ridiculously clumsy and stupid and at this point I feel sort of accomplished that I managed to do this at all.
GO ME.
<3
And next time I write a longish story I am going to have a clear simple plot, and that doesn't matter because, my friends, you are responsible people and are to not let me write anything longer than a short story until I have recovered from this. xD Okay? Okay.
... *exhales*
*sits back, feeling accomplished*

Congratulations. =D
... and, gosh, I wouldn't recognize my NaNos if I didn't hate them. xD So, y'know. Feelin' accomplished is the right feeling, I'd say!
I will endeavour to be a good friend and order you to only write short stories until you've recovered. ^_^ (though you left that really open-ended right there, 'cos how'm I to know when you've recovered?) Congratulations again. =D (can I read it now?)

Well, congrats on finishing! =D *throws confetti* If you don't feel too bad about it to show anyone, I certainly wouldn't mind reading it sometime. It sucks when it doesn't turn out exactly how you want it to, but I'm sure it'd be enjoyable to read nonetheless!
(I totally agree with Kathleen, though. >> I wasn't crazy about my nano last year, either.)

(I totally agree with Kathleen, though. >> I wasn't crazy about my nano last year, either.) Thankyouthankyou both. <3 ^__^ And ... I suppose the only way to determine that I've recovered is me plunging enthusiastically into a novel again. xD (This, by the way, is a novella. 33kish.) That'll probably end poorly as well, but looking back on writing I can only ever seem to remember the really fun parts. *beams at the praise and congratulations* And yeah. Okay. ... Argued with myself a bit over it, but, hey, if it'll entertain people to read this then they are very welcome to read it. xD Entertaining people is my main Goal in Life at present, after all, so I shan't complain. Just - so long as you're aware that none of the promises made at the beginning are kept? Mmkay. Well. Have fun. xD I s'pose I can't blame you; even when I sorta hate the story in question I find my writing oddly fun to read, which is doubtless hideously conceited of me. Some of the dialogue is fun, 'least. And story! Right. docs.google.com/document/d/1-9dj6GLiLsVyMHkiAI71iegT8WFUR0A3hoGKuwf-Nwk/edit?hl=en_US(I do hope that works. xD)
