I just wanted to take a moment to say something that's been on my mind for a while. This is to Tacoers, 'Bloiders... pretty much the NTWF as a whole, really.
Basically... I love you all. I really do.
I think I've alluded to it before, but things have been stressful for me lately. Worrying over my fast-approaching future and all the things I need to get working on, lack of friends and general appreciation in the real world, arguments, health issues, what I suspect to be symptoms of depression... and then there's you guys.
Things haven't always been good around here. I'd be lying to say otherwise. There have been down times, there have been times where I really didn't want to be here at all. There have been times, believe it or not, when I've even been tempted to just walk away and never look back, thinking that maybe the NTWF isn't right for me anymore.
But in the end, I can never do it. For one simple reason: because I love you.
The NTWF is truly a special place. I have yet to find another forum anywhere on the internet where the members care for each other as much as the members here do. We all come from different walks of life, we all have different opinions, and sometimes we disagree with each other. But even still, there's some sort of bond that ties us all together. A powerful bond of friendship that has survived, no matter how many odds may go against it.
Just as there may have been bad times, there have been so many good times, as well. Stories that have been written. Games that have been played. Laughter that has been shared... and memories that have been made.
Maybe things have changed. Maybe I don't regularly hang out with the same group of friends as I did a couple years ago. Maybe I'm not interested in all the same things I used to be, and maybe I don't want to be around the NTWF as much sometimes.
But I could never leave. Not with so many wonderful people here.
I love you guys. I really do. <3 I'm looking forward to all the wonderful memories that are yet to be made here.
