*was really hoping Farlax V would be the next DoN mission* He totally deserves more site recognition than what he's got. D: I have three favorite faeries XD Ilere, as mentioned, and Eithne is another one. :3 I would have loved to have participated in the MI plot. D: So... pretty... Combo of Eithne, and the most awesome Moltenore ever. ever. =D I quite like this image. These type of bandits always fascinate me :3 We need more. And for my last favorite faerie, Malice (on the left). She's pretty, and awesome. The Dark Faerie Sisters battle on the ps2 game is my favorite boss battle. *nodnod*

That awesome dude I posted earlier was none other than the Buzz Avenger. c8 He is one of my favorite characters ever. I made a Buzz character based off him way back in 2005, and when that one got frozen I recreated him just since I liked him so much. And eventually, a third reincarnation of that Buzz came. xD This one, Vaqselle, now sits in one of my sides. And while I changed him into a regular, nothing-special character for a while, he returned to being an avenger character again. C8

Nereid. 8D I love her, she is so beautiful and epic and wow!! <33 I hope that TNT gives her more attention someday, she is so epic! I love all the three dark faerie sisters, but Vanity is my favorite! They are so funny and interesting, not to mention their character design is epic! Another faerie, Iyana! XD She doesn't has much of a back story, but she looks fascinating! Vira is so mysterious, I can't help but be interested by her evil cuteness! I wonder if we'll never know who transformed her, I have a theory the responsible was Vanity. XD

@tamia and Buizel: Seconded on the Pirate Bomber and Buzzby! I call the Bomber "Mad Molly," because I see her as this kid who Scarblade's crew kidnapped, and she was raised to be a Tyke Bomb. If I wasn't still trying to get Sirocco's story in, I'd write something about her and why she became the cackling little maniac she is today! Speaking of Scarblade's scurvy crew, I love pretty much all their designs. Even though I went with Maraqua, it was the crew of the Revenge who received the designs with the most personality, and I have my own names and interpretations for their characters. I see the Pirate Avenger as being named Jeanne, and is a psycho; she's the assassin, sent out by Scarblade to kill targets of interest. In battle, she enjoys counting her fallen foes like it's a sick game, and she rarely if ever frowns. She has no remorse, and will smile at you and tell you that you're going to be fine right as she shoves the knife in your back. Dirk, the First Mate, is unhappy with his lot in life. He thinks he should be the captain, and has an ego the size of Kreludor. He thinks he's the most cunning, debonair pirate on the seas, but unfortunately, his hubris prevents him from that. Also, he's too afraid of Scarblade to actually try and act on his boasts. Ursa is the only sane woman on Scarblade's crew; she's pragmatic, and seems to be the only one with a hint of honor. The only reason she respects and follows Scarblade is because he saved her life when she was a pup; next to Benny, Ursa is the one pirate Scarblade trusts the most. Seamus is a petty brute; he's only interested in piracy for the riches he can gain. Before he joined the crew, he was a highwayman in Meridell; however, after the Knights put a five hundred thousand Neopoint reward on his head, he fled to the lawless seas of Scurvy Island. Hooktail Hank is, at his core, a coward. He's on the lowest rung of Scarblade's crew, being a scout and all. The only reason he's kept around is because he's so good at spying on enemies; he's perfected the art of silent flying, and if he's spotted, he'll use a sonic scream on his foes to stun them as he makes his getaway. Olga is a pretty nasty piece of work; other than Scarblade, she's the most feared pirate on the Revenge. Why? She was kicked out of her job as a Food Club cook for serving up a dish containing near-lethal doses of the Stuff. As a result, she cooked a pie for the Food Club as a "going away" gift. It was baked from rotten fish that left the entire Food Club nauseous for weeks. Two-Ton Tim is the biggest pirate on Scarblade's crew. However, he's also the dumbest. After all, what kind of idiot manages to lose both of his legs and be dumb enough to replace them with unsturdy peg legs? Regardless, he's tattooed himself with a map to all the treasure the Revenge has stolen; he also has a secret love of Usukis - many of which he's stolen from children. Stonewall Samuel doesn't talk much. It's not because he's stupid, no - Sammy just prefers to let his fists do the talking. It's been said that his skin is as tough as stone - even Maractite weapons have snapped in two upon making contact with his flexed biceps. He seems to be good friends with Seamus. When Jack Hopper was a kit, he was the runt of the litter; everyone else at the Academy made fun of him. So, after getting fed up with the torment he endured from his peers, he decided to bulk up - and boy, did he ever! Jack Hopper made a name for himself by beating most of his peers into submission, and became well known in Scurvy Island's underground Battledome fights before he joined Scarblade's crew. Billy Gunn has some of the worst teeth in Neopia, but some of its best aim - he once sank a merchant vessel with one shot from his arm cannons. He works meticulously on making his cannons more accurate and more powerful - unfortunately, he doesn't dedicate the same amount of time to dental hygiene. Mad Molly was a child from Happy Valley who was unfortunate enough to be captured by the crew of the Revenge; originally, they were going to sell her to a tribe on Mystery Island to use as a ritual sacrifice; however, when she found her way into Billy Gunn's ammo room, she took a shine to making things explode. As a result, she was trained to be a merciless killer since before she was even thirteen. Now, as a teenager, she's kept under lock and key until they're ready to unleash her; she's been trained so successfully as a bomber, making things explode is all she thinks about; she barely eats, she's so obsessed with explosions! Here are some more characters I love: Galgarrath or Galgarroth isn't that obscure, but he certainly hasn't done much in the plots. I kind of see him as the "rational" one, the Spock to Darigan's Kirk. Ever since it was revealed that the Citadel are al evil-looking because Meridell stole the Orb, I've sympathized with them, so I see Darigan as being someone who means well, but seems evil to others. Like Snape, he's more of a morally grey character. I interpert most Darigan Citadel denizens as being "grey," with the exceptions of Hadrak, Morguss, and of course, Kass. One of many reasons I felt the Return of Dr. Sloth fell short of expectations (other than being truncated for Daily Dare) was that Designer Zelroo was nowhere to be found. Every mad scientist has to have a chief designer, and Zelroo was Sloth's. Plus, he reminds me of Lord Vorselon from Ratchet and Clank, being a disembodied head in a robot suit. The Ixi Courtier is here because he's one of many in the service of Lord Kass, who happens to be my favorite Neo-villain. Now, some sources state the Courtier is female, although the original artist intended for him/her to be male. Plus, the guy has a goatee. Unless it's a bearded woman.

I've always been a big fan of the Health Food Quiggle. In a meager little broccoli-shaped hut, this guy always gets a bad rap. Wrote a story about the little guy here.

I've always loved the Jelly Chia, and I don't quite know why. I just want to give him/her a BIIIIG hug. <3 The Soup Faerie! She's well-known, but she hasn't been featured in any big story. I actually went as her for Halloween a few years back. ^^ My absolute favorite would be the Battle Faerie. When I first joined, I was near obsessed with buying any item that featured her. XD She's just so cool! images.neopets.com/images/frontpage/battle_faerie_2004.gif [/img] (Dang, I want to draw her now. D: )

Totally the pant devil (s) He was always one of my favorite characters. He did get a defenders of neopia mission, but I feel he's still pretty obscure.

Oh man, don't get me started. xD Although most of my obscure character love is based on silly things. Daedelon, simply because his description on the collectable cards sounds badass. Seriously, a steed you don't so much ride as hold on for dear life? Awesome. Nuria. Sure her statue was an important part of the Lost Desert Plot but we barely know anything about her as a character and why she has such a unique design among Fire Faeries. Yeah, I'm a sucker for Tatar-like clothing. Also, look at that moustache. I wanna know what is going on here. Plus, I will not deny that a cult of adorable one-eyed kitties makes me laugh. The Drenched. We barely know anything about them, which is a shame because they seem like such fascinating characters. For example, what is it with the sliding scale of evil they have? He does appear as a Battledome challenger and a Defenders mission but other than the fact that he lives in a swamp and spreads death, we don't know much about this guy. And as somebody who loves Darigan Hissis, I want to know why and how he ended up there. The Navigator. Have I ever told you guys how much I like kickbutt characters? And the only thing I like more than that (well, one of the things) are aviators. Those steely eyes, the allusions to great deeds...

My favorite has to be...... Mr. Chipper!!! Not just because he's a Lute, but because he seems to have a hidden personality! EXAMPLE. From the Ice Cream Cart Page:

He's also in The Darkest Faerie (obvious from its flavortext lol), spreading poison across Bogshot. :3 You have to defeat him to cure the villagers of their blight.

Yes! I love Designer Zelroo so much. I still can't believe they left him out of the Return of Dr. Sloth! D: Anyhow, as for my other picks... I've always liked a good mad doctor, and as such Neopia's resident Dr. Frankenstein, the wonderfully named Professor Kachevski, has always interested me. The other Neo-Frankenstein characters, Eureka and Scauderwelsch are equally great to me. I'd really like to see them used for something or expanded upon, though that seems unlikely due to their status as parody characters. :/ Leeroy, the Coconut Shy Quiggle is another favorite of mine. Mostly due to that laugh. You have GOT to love the laugh. I've also always liked the various Sloth Clones, in particular Rusty Sloth Clone #11. The idea of a forgotten Sloth Clone going on its own rampage separate from the rest of the army seems ripe with potential stories to me. And finally, the Tax Beast. Not particularly obscure (then again, neither is Leeroy *shrug*), but I just love the concept of an actual evil beast that exists purely to collect tax money. Just imagine if taxes worked this way in the real world! xD
