EDIT: A month later, 50k posts! Yay!
---
I was considering holding off until I hit 50,000 posts, but considering how little I've been posting this past little while, plus the fact that I'm going to be off at camp this next week... yeah.
Normally I'd say that most of you know the story already, but quite honestly, I'm not sure you all do anymore. XD; Five years is a long time. But yes. Five years ago, a young PFA had published her big NT series that she'd worked so hard on, and was so very proud of herself. Being the curious kid she was, she scoured the internet for Neopian Times-related websites to see if anyone was talking about her great story. Lo and behold, she found the NTWF. And surprisingly yes, someone did mention her story! This made young PFA very happy.
Now young PFA started taking a liking to this NTWF place, and thought it looked like a really cool place to hang out and have fun with the other NT writers. However, she was about two and a half months away from being 13, which is the minimum age for accounts on the vast majority of the internet nowadays. Being the honest young girl she was, she decided to wait before making her account, and instead started posting about the forum as a guest. (Disclaimer: you're not supposed to do that either. XD; Don't do what 12-year-old PFA did.)
Either way, through my guestposting I became an active member of the forum... as a guest. So while I didn't technically join until my 13th birthday, I consider the day I made my first guestpost as my first anniversary, and that was today... five years ago.
Thank you, NTWF, for an awesome five years. <3 I can't say it's been entirely perfect, and there have been ups and downs all throughout... but I've become attached to this place in so many ways. You all are amazing friends and I am so glad to have stumbled upon this place.
Five years ago, I stumbled upon this forum randomly in a search for NT-related posts. And now I can't imagine where I'd be without it.
So yes, thank you, everyone. Thank you for being so awesome. <3 Here's to many more years, and many more fond memories.
