Ctrl + V = My latest NT short story that I just submitted. It's too long to paste here (nearly 2000 words) but here's a preview:
Azetrine huffed and heaved the red vase into her living room. The exhausted Acara slumped onto the couch and stared at her latest finding. It was a free gift of sorts from Geraptiku.
It involves a Geraptiku petpet and a potentially unallowed method of travelling from Neopia to Kreludor and back. XDDD

Up until eight grade/grade 8, my parents taught me. Here you can buy workbooks up to grade 12, and they come with a set for parents as well. So I'd have a schedule of what books I'd do every day, for about three hours. Mom wasn't exactly my teacher, more of a person to help me if I was stuck on a problem. In 9th grade, last year, I started FLVS (Florida Virtual School), which is entirely online. Here I am enrolled in five classes: Algebra II, Spanish II, English II, Earth & Space Science and Business Systems & Technology, so I have five different teachers who live all over Florida. I can them once a month and do some oral quizzes on the phone. FLVS is really nifty because I have pace charts for each of my classes. For instance, if I'm in week 22 of Spanish II, I need to completed lessons 6.07 and 6.08 by the end of the week. It's just a way to make sure that I am keeping up with the class and it allows me to say, "Okay, I'll go Spanish on Tuesday and Algebra on Wednesday" or whatever. If you get a passing grade (C+ or higher) you get one credit for the class once it is completed. You need 24 credits by your senior year to graduate, if you are homeschooled. That's pretty much it. ...explaining how I do school.

SOME say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I’ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, 5 I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

Current Contest: Castle CatastrophyInfo and Rules:YAWN.... The holidays really wore us out! We have noticed though that one of us in the office is very depressed. (Lawyerbot) This week we are going to try to help poor Lawyerbot. You see he didn't get the ONE thing he really wanted for his Usuki collection. He didn't get his Usuki Dream Castle. So we are going to show him how to BUILD his own! That is correct, this weeks competition is for you to build an Usuki Dream Castle out of cardboard boxes that you hopfully saved from the holidays. (Make sure you ask your parents if you are allowed to use the boxes before you start cutting them etc.) Here are the rules: - Get at least one box of some sort - The Castle should be the right size for an Usuki Doll - The Castle should not look like the pre-packaged Usuki Dream Castle. Please make yours different and much better! - Furniture is not a must, but you should at least try to have carpet, wallpaper/paint, windows, roofing, etc. - No premade furniture, carpets, etc allowed. If you use furniture from your own doll house we will disqualify you. - All things can be drawn into the castle, but just remember that Laywerbot won't have much fun if he can't actually use the items in the castle. - You have two weeks so take your time and do a good job. Extra credit - If you want extra credit add some landscaping and maybe a moat... Lawyerbot grabs a tissue and says:- Make sure you have adult supervision when doing crafts - SNIFF _____________________________________________ Wow, that's an interesting one. It's certainly not anything I would've expected for a post-Christmas Random Contest. Seems to me there've been an awful lot of two-week long contests lately, which means a longer wait for those who aren't interested in the current one, but two weeks is the least they could do for a complicated task like this. When I read this, I had the urge to look up Lawyerbot's account and send him an Usuki Dream Castle. XD It sounds like fun, but I'm not sure if I'll have time for it. I think I'd end up drawing all the details onto the castle. ... Eh, I hit Ctrl-C before posting just in case of an error. Nearly every time I come to this thread, I just copy in something that I posted elsewhere on the NTWF.

I already did my science project. It was on which toothpaste works best. ^^ I died eggs with coffee and let them sit in different containers of whitening toothpaste and water. Use Crest Whitening people, it's the best! XD
G'luck.

Ginz (Knight) - Marry. I think that's a punishment. Nah, that would so backfire on you! XD --- Something I posted on the "Kiss, Marry, or Push Off a Cliff!" thread. I always have something NTWF related when I come to this thread... except when I have nothing on my Ctrl-V. XD
