But then again, the visit to Medieville had clearly changed her and for the better. She had enjoyed the company of peasants, even if one of them turned out to be a king later, and since they had returned to Destrier, he had noticed that she had matured a little thanks to the trip. It was curious that she would arrive to the conclusion to go out among the people in disguise but then again, she was his granddaughter and Alain was his father's son. At the rate they were going, they would establish this as a family tradition.
For the most part, Alain ignored it, letting Lucinda stretch her wings and get a feel for going out in disguise, though he always made sure to check that she had come back without incident.
