Saeryennan recognized the Eyrie the moment she saw him.
"Sir?" she said. "Are you alright - oh no..."
She noticed a Gelert nurse was paying some attention to him, so she resisted the urge to call Nyvenne. Nevertheless, she stepped up next to him and helped him walk, remembering he had told her she needed to learn compassion.
And if this wasn't compassion, she didn't know what was.

Meanwhile, a young Aisha, wrapped in a leafy cloak, walked into Altador. She had been separated from her home, and was seeking aid. "Could someone help me? Please? Anyone?"

Anthy weaved past other neopets and potted plants, tiptoeing over patches of mud with a look of muted concern for the Aisha. She brought herself to eye level with the young girl and asked, "Are you lost? You do not seem to be in a good state."

Xandra, too, saw the Aisha. She was unsure in her steps as she approached. Part of her was screaming that Anthy would try to attack her because she thought Xandra would hurt the Aisha. What had the Xweetok done to herself - no. No no no. Katriana Katriana Katriana. She did this to me, thought Xandra. Not me. Her.
With that in mind, she walked a little faster until she was within about a foot of Anthy and the Aisha.
"Are you okay?" she asked.

"I just need some food... My name is Naia. I was named after a Faerie..." She looked up. She seemed to be about 15 years of age, but had strange, smooth yet tough skin, almost like... Wood? "You are Alyxandra..."

Xandra stepped a litte closer.
"Yes, I'm Xandra, the sister of the queen who rules here..."
That's all she would ever say.

Ignoring Xandra's presence and words, Anthy stuck a paw in the convenient satchel she wore that she'd forgot was actually there, but, well, it existed now. From it she retrieved a scone from earlier, still warm, and handed it to the Aisha. "We can find better food for you later, but will this suffice for now?"

"... What is it?" Naia sniffed at it, not sure what to make of it. "It is... Not a pl,ant, it is not an animal...?"
Meanwhile, Hunter was busy in the mountains, trying to find where Nocturnus could be hiding. "Last time I was in the Dragon's Teeth, I almost got skewered by the spears of Attilus' men... What's this?" Hunter looked up at a vast tower, seemingly made from volcanic rock. "It's cool to the touch?"

"It's a 'scone'," Anthy explained, placing the pastry in the Aisha's wooden paws. "It is made from all sorts of plants, like wheat and sugar and berries."

Anthy didn't seem to object to the attentions Xandra were giving.
"Naia?" she asked, approaching the Aisha. "Do you want to come to Altador Palace? We'd be happy to shelter you there...Naia...that's a really pretty name, actually..."

"Uwah!" Naia dropped it, shuddering. "Plants were... Killed to make this?!" She glared angrily at Anthy before bolting off into the crowd.

"For Fyora's sake!" Anthy said exasperatedly. Turning to Xandra, she muttered, "What can anyone eat that isn't killing something? Does she want us to generate some magical treat?"

"I don't know," said Xandra in a tone as if she were in another world altogether. She was, in fact, thinking about how lost and alone Naia must be...just like she had been when Katriana dumped her in the forest just because the Faerie didn't want King Altdor to find out she'd been holding innocent Xweetoks captive.
Xandra walked swiftly after Naia until she caught up.
"Listen," she said. "I was once lost in a forest. I thought I'd be there forever until an Earth Faerie rescued me. Now come back with me to the palace. You'll be safe there."
It was strangely easy to speak of her past to the Aisha, who she could somewhat relate to. She wondered if Naia had just suffered something and that's why she didn't speak much. Without thinking, she put one arm around the Aisha as if they were sisters.
