"Ah, there! It won't take long to heal, magma rocks are very unstable close to lava, so I believe it's constantly changing, like bones!" The gelert nurse smiled at Victor while she finished putting his wing back to place. "Just don't shake it too much, to heal on the right place you'll have to keep it still!"
"Thanks a lot!" Victor bowed his head like most quadruped pets do, he was feeling more cheerful now that his wing was being well treated and the accident that caused the fracture was just a past memory- the fury in his chest was calm, it was still there...but under control.
"You know, a young boy like you shouldn't push your mind too much! Stress causes lack of patience and accidents like that happen!" The old female gelert pointed at Victor's beak in a motherly way.
"Wait, how do you..." Victor tried to ask, but the nurse was already gone and the eyrie felt lonely again. He missed his sisters, and that servant made him feel at home again...someone always cheering you up, giving advice and help was something hard to let go, even if it was for a short period of time. And then something caught his attention, from the window he could see the altadorian market, and he couldn't help but notice tall wooden aisha ears zooming through the sea of colors.

Feeling out of place, Anthy opted to sulk and walk off in search of Victor. She recalled his injuries and wanted to keep him company, at the same time caving to her own wishes for someone to talk to her and treat her like she was important. Her ego was in desperate need of stroking.
"Victor?" Popping out from behind the door into his room, she nodded in a quasi-bow. "Hello. How are you coming along?"

"Oh, hey there Anthy!' Victor smiled at the xweetok, the happiness in his voice surprised him. "I'm fine, thanks for asking...you know wings, always breaking..." He joked, he was glad Anthy was there. Victor had traveled weeks alone, and eventually lost the habit of talking like he used to, but it looked like it was slowly coming back!
"Was it you outside with a wooden aisha?"

"It is good to see you're making a good recovery," the red Xweetok said, then glanced over at the window. The colorful crowd of blobs did indeed include a minty-green, white-spotted blotch and two brown sticks. She wanted to forget that uncomfortable showing. "Yes. You know, it's ridiculous. She asked for something filling, I offered her food, she asked what it was, I told her, and she threw a fit because it was reaped from martyred plants. What did she expect me to give her? It makes no sense." She threw her arms up in the air, exhaling a breath of frustration. Having a young Aisha yelling at her over silly things brought back unpleasant memories.

Hunter deftly maneuvered his way past some traps in the Magma Tower, but he bumped into someone. "Who goes there?!" Hunter drew his sword, and saw it was a familiar face. "... Miraja?! What are you doing here?!"
Miraja folded her fan back and embraced her husband. "I was flying through to see if the Dragon's Teeth Warriors were up to anything, and I saw this tower. There's some glow in the top room. The Xweetok placed her hand on her hip. "And you've been fighting again, eh?"

The Aisha seemed okay with Xandra's presence, so the Xweetok began to guide Naia over to the palace.
- when she saw something dark in the distance. At first she thought Nocturnus had come back, but then she saw that this figure had wings. It was a Darkness Faerie.
When the Faerie flew closer to Xandra and Naia, the Xweetok let out a surprised gasp. She wasn't scared, she just wondered what the Faerie could want.
The Faerie had shoulder-length black hair and plum-colored wings, and she wore a gown of deep purple and green.
"You are Xandra, right?" she asked. Before Xandra could answer, the Faerie went on, "There's something I think you should know..."
After the Faerie left, Xandra quickly ushered Naia toward and into the palace, where she noticed Victor and Anthy. She had to tell them about the magma tower...apparently the mysterious Faerie had seen a glow there...

"Huh...that's funny, I wonder if Wooden pets eat fertilizer?" Victor considered, and then he noticed Xandra and the mysterious wooden aisha. If he wasn't made of magma, he'd blush...did the aisha heard what he said? "Oh, hello Xandra and..hum, Miss." He said Xandra's name a bit gloomily, he had a feeling that that xweetok brought bad news with her.
In fact, VIctor had a theory that neopet was cursed with bad luck!

Anthy turned away from Victor as Xandra and her new friend came over. "Something wrong?" She asked skeptically.
~~~~~~~~~
Ava did not want to be here.
The yellow Aisha had poised herself carefully, walking around the marketplace with both paws gripping the handle of a pleasant-looking wicker basket, woven with multicolor straps of wood. She had bought it just recently at a market on Mystery Island before setting out for Altador--it still contained the small bags of silver and cloth she had wrapped; she'd been lucky not to lose them on the longest voyage she had ever forced herself to go on. With Cam indefinitely away at boarding school and Anthy and Jem settled down in Altador, Ava had no choice but to head off to the kingdom. She was not independent--she still had Anthy's mentor, Laitha, keeping an eye on her--but she could at least pretend to be.
She bit her lip in anger. She could see a dark faerie over across the crowd, apparently advising a pair of neopets--sisters, she assumed, since one looked slightly older than the other and the elder treated the younger with care. Perhaps she was their mentor. If the faerie recognized Ava, would she pester her much as the others had? Would she patronize her as Jhuidah had, treating her to lectures and showering her with fake friendliness?
Here Ava decided to turn about and instead search for her sisters. She did not need this. If the faerie wanted to bother her--which all of her self-centered instincts assumed was the case--then it would be best that she leave.
"Victor, Anthy..." Xandra began. She didn't know what to say.
"A Darkness Faerie," she panted, "just told me..."
She told them about the magma tower, and the fact that Hunter had been seen there, along with a glow. She didn't say this, but she suspected it could be Katriana, since she doubted shadow spectres would glow...
Naia jumped back and hid under a table, afraid of the Magma Eyrie. "Do not let him burn me! I am not kindling!"
Meanwhile, Nocturnus stood, gazing at the tower. "So THAT'S where that witch is hiding... Perhaps I should let those two Neopets stir the pot."
"Hey, don't worry!" Victor tried to calm down the aisha, but how could he if he was panicking himself? He didn't notice that wood and fire are a dangerous combination before. "I-i...I promise I won't touch you...and besides, it won't burn as long as I'm under control!"
The eyrie looked around for something, he wanted desperately to tranquilize her. Victor saw a curtain and grabbed it. "See? No fire!" He smiled.
"Shhhh, it's okay," Xandra said. "He won't hurt you, he's a good Eyrie."
"Very," Saeryennan added as she strolled in.
"A glow," Anthy repeated, squinting at Xandra with a confused frown. "If it's a magma tower, why would it not be glowing? Surely fires glow. I--I do not mean to insult you or anything grievous like that, but I am not sure why that's worrying."
"Well, Hunter is investigating it and I think - she might be there..."
Meanwhile, up in the topmost room of the magma tower, a Shadow Cybunny greedily looked over a pile of Neopoints. But this wasn't all he was going to get, he thought as he grinned from ear to ear. Katriana had promised him a hearty sum of gold and jewels if he helped her reclaim Altador. And he would rule be her side. Sweet...
"Kaden!"
The Cybunny immediately snapped out of his greedy thoughts and ran to meet Katriana.
"Your Majesty," he said, bowing.
"I sense two powerful Neopets are on their way up here. Go find them, and bring them to me!"
"But, your Majesty - "
"Do it!" shouted Katriana, sending a small, fiery spark at Kaden.
"Okay, okay, fine, but you'll never get what you want if - "
"Don't argue, just do it!"
Katriana grumbled as she watched Kaden leave. The idiot, thinking he was going to rule with her. No way.
Kaden approached a stairway, wondering how best to do this.
"Oh, you fool!" a voice in his head said.
"Uggh..." the Cybunny moaned. "Stop with the telepathy stuff..."
"DO YOU WANT TO GET POSSESSED?! DO YOU?!"
Kaden bolted down the stairs, flaming sword in hand.
This was gonna be good.
"We got company." Miraja crouched down behind the stairwell, and Hunter followed. "Looks like a Cybunny. He isn't much bigger than you or me. I'm sure we can take him."
"A flaming sword?" Hunter drew his sword and dashed out of hiding. "I am Sir Hunter Penn! We come in peace!"
