Gamestop just dropped the price to $40 new, so I grabbed a copy. I really want to finish it up but silly work is getting in the way.  I'm not sure how a game I was so outrageously hyped about could still exceed my expectations. |

Oh man, I finished Portal 2 a few days ago. And even better, I've got my sister playing through the first one! Soon I'll have a good couch co-op partner! [spoilers] When the lift stopped in front of that line of turrets I really, really thought I was going to end the game by being shot to death. XD Man, what an exciting game. I loved all the goofy jokes, and how some of them came back to be important plot points. Like how lunar rocks are a good portaling surface. I thought The Itch was a great chapter; it really got me thinking about the ethics of controlling an AI. Also, in Part 6 in front of the giant vault door- am I the only idiot who got the solution for that hilariously wrong at first? I ended up consecutively flinging myself into an infinite loop from the highest point of the wall to the bottom of the far wall, poping a portal onto the slanted part of the wall while I was in the air, and trying to pass through the aperture logo. I think I tried for an hour to pull it off perfectly, only to fall way short of the platform when I finally did. That's when I started to rethink the plan. [/spoilers] |

Well I guess I won't be playing co-op with anyone >.> I think I'm giving the PS3 back sometime next week or the following week. And PSN isn't supposed to be back up and running until the 31st now >.>

I should be getting Portal 2 in the next couple of days. I'm so excited. =D
(Gamestop discounted the PC version to $30, which was nice. ^_^)

May I join? I own the Orange Box for Xbox 360, and I want Portal 2 BADLY... My PC sucks sadly, so I can't get the PC version.. >.> Anyways, I am a huge Portal junkie. In fact, I plan on creating posters which say "Did you know that you can donate one or all of your vital organs to the Aperture Science self esteem fund for girls? It's True!" and have "Aperture Industries" on the bottom. I will then place these posters through out my school!
