Welcome to "What Binds Us Together"! This is a roleplay that happens within the Guilds universe; hence, it is recommended to roleplay as your guild characters. Those without guild characters, however, are still free to roleplay as their own characters and are not expected to be affiliated with any of the guilds.
This roleplay is rated T, which might include violence and suggestive themes.

“… We are here, milord.” Emerging from the trees were three beings covered in tattered cloaks. Two of them stood tall on their two legs, giving off humanoid appearances. The other, hulking in comparison to the two, hunched severely with their hands just inches away from touching the ground. The condition of their cloaks tell the length of their journey. The one in the middle walked closer to the cliff in front of them. A gentle breeze swayed across his covered face, showing off the curvature of a single hump on the right side of his head. “It has been awhile since I stepped on this very same place.” He took a glance at a particular spot: a small mound of dirt. Lack of disturbance had turned it into an elevated patch of grass, though it is very distinguishable from the rest of the field. The stranger walked near the mound and picked up a stone slab beside it. Softly, he placed it on the small gap by the mound. “I feel saddened for some reason, but I do not remember how long I had this erected,” he uttered while kneeling in front of it. “… In fact, I do not remember why I made this.” The other humanoid stepped behind him, holding a crystal ball. It began to shine dimly upon approach. “It has visions of your past, but it is restrained,” she began stroking the crystal. “We already know you are connected to this place. However, the secrets of your identity lie somewhere around this place.” “I am aware of that.” The man stood up and looked back at the place just beneath them. It was a place of cultural diversity, and a place held up in high regards by its neighboring continents. It is a place that has no real name, but is known for the four letters that signify its mighty presence. NTWF. “Me see nothing special about place,” the gigantic figure roared impatiently. “What is special thing?!” “Once we proceed with our mission, we will figure that out.” The man looked at the woman, who in return understood his thoughts and dissipated in black smoke. “With the discovery of my identity lies the ability to possess that certain matter. And then…” The giant let out a low-toned laugh, as if knowing what he was about to say.

((Near Ninja Dojo))
The mysterious man set foot towards the closest landmark from their previous location. It was an olden structure situated atop a small hill and around groups of unnaturally-colored trees. Its distant location from the rest of the guilds gives its tranquility, as the man began to observe his surroundings.
The silence of the place was quickly followed by the rustling of leaves, the pattern too erratic for natural behavior. Immediately, shadows of human figures formed around the man, turning more solid by the second.
Two men, heavily-covered in black and armed with exotic weapons, appeared in front of the man. "Stranger, you are trespassing the vicinity of the Ninja Dojo," one of them sternly warned him. "You are to leave immediately, or suffer the consequences."
"Gentlemen, why such a harsh way of greeting a passer-by?" the man replied, not even shuffling from his place. "Might I not spend some of my time in your humble area?"
"Your presence disturbs the wildlife around here greatly; we have our ways of tracking a suspicious entity, and you have not explained yourself as of yet."
The man looked around, as if casually searching for something. "Perhaps I can have an immediate appointment with your leader? I have taken quite an interest in this place..."
One of the ninjas started to become agitated by the man's failure to heed to their warnings. He unleashed his blade from his back. "You are to leave now!" he uttered as he charged swiftly towards the man.
Suddenly, dark clouds began to hover above the cloaked man, covering part of the Ninja Dojo in natural darkness. Without any warning, the cloud directly above them dropped red thunderbolts below, creating a huge flash of dark-red energy around the three men. The sound of the thunderbolts crashing into the ground released a thundrous sound that echoed around and beyond the Ninja Dojo.
It happened in an instant, and after the flash dissipated, the two ninjas were gone. The cloaked man appeared unharmed, as he simply wiped his cloak clean from the dust of dirt that splashed around.
"My presence will be known."

((Only question. When will this RP take place?)) (This RP takes place at a distant time after the third Guild Wars. The damage from the last epic battle had been completely restored (somehow), and everything is (relatively) peaceful in the continent of NTWF. However, things of permanence that occurred during the last event remain intact (if I recall correctly, the Ninja Superior of the Ninja Guild was implied to have passed away during the Guild War and thus remains that way, for an example). Basically, everyone in the continent is back to their relative normal lives, unless they're too sugar-powered to have one to begin with. I'd like to give everyone a leeway by saying that what occurs during this roleplay may or may not be canon to what happens to your characters. They may have been eaten by a giant fluffy monster made out of strawberry leaves and cotton in this roleplay, and they'd still be happy and ready to fight another day after this roleplay. I was about to use this as a post-conclusion event, but it turns out I might have to reveal this information to attract some players. I'm sorry if I'm starting to become lengthy about what I'm trying to say. I'm currently busy for a few days. I will return immediately afterwards.)

It was excited.
It had been, what, months since it was subdued in the dark box, prohibited from any contact with the outside world. Before then, there was a promise. One day, it would be free to venture, and when the time comes, it will be ready to spread its influence. So it agreed and waited patiently for the moment.
The time it spent with the one who promised it freedom, it would only be allowed to taste its food from time to time, and it was to fully enjoy its presence. The pitiful sight of denial, the lemony scent of anger, the helpless sound of pleading, the rough texture of sadness, and the bittersweet taste of acceptance. Somehow, this instinctive process of survival had turned into a psychological attribute, and it would learn to inspect about its meal: something it used to not bother with at all.
It learned about sentience.
A peep of light entered, and it reacted with utmost vigor. It was eager to get out, and it did. Only a small puff of black smoke sealed the lid back in, and it began to shook in disappointment.
"Soon," echoed a voice from the outside, comforting it.
Now was not yet the time, the voice explained. It receded back into its place, but its excitement only grew bigger.
