Aw man, I adore flashbacks! ^_^ It was great to actually see all those events that we've heard so much from in prior seasons. The animation was gorgeous, wasn't it? WIth those blurry backgrounds, different point of views...Nightmare moon at moonlight was just grandious! *-* I shall fight the urge to make fanart. Vigorously.
It was a really, really fun episode. Much better than the Royal Wedding, in my opinion! XD And Discord...Discord was pure gold. I never liked him much until this episode.

So, I finally got around to watching Equestria Grls. *slow* And it was alright, for a show obviously trying to sell a new line of toys, but a few points bothered me: -The romance between Twilight and Flash Sentry. (Was that his name?) I mean, Twilight never saw humans before. How could she find herself attracted to one of them? Sure, sure, it's not what someone looks like, it's what's in their heart that counts, right? Umm, if I were ever taken to another world where I was turned into a horse, and then I started to find myself attracted to another horse, I would kinda' be squicked out at that point. (And this coming from a furry. :B)
-What. Demons. What.
-Wait, you're just going to leave your friends to live in the human world with pony ears on their heads? And wings on some of them? You've turned your friends into freaks. I'm pretty sure Fluttershy is exactly the type of person who wouldn't want the attention you'd get if you suddenly had wings. Those girls are all going to need a lot of hats (though from the looks of Applejack, it's not going to help.)

Watched today's episode. Thoughts are as follows: Those books have sure held up really well for being stuck in an old castle for hundreds of years. I wonder what ponies use for paper?
And I knew it was Pinkie long before the reveal. I actually suspected it when I saw a preview image in which Pinkie was absent.

You're right Bacon, part of me was hoping it'd be Luna but since Pinkie was the only absent character there...it gave her away. XD
It felt like a rather generic episode sprinkled with MLP's style to me. Friends scaring one another? Almost every cartoon franchise has made at least one of those. The abandoned castle, secret passages and scary amours added a nice scooby-dooish touch to it, though. It was cool to get a better view at Luna and Celestia's old castle, in my opinion it gives their life a bit more of depth, don't you guys think? ^_^
Not the best episode ever, but fairly entertaining.

It was an alright episode, and got a few laughs out of me. But Rarity! Don't just fix the tapestries and then put them back on the wall!! They're just going to continue to rot, what with the castle being open to the elements and all! Those belong in a museum! D:

Well, luckily they disappeared when she left XD Or else it would have been bad XD

Just watched Castle Mane-ia: I liked the bit from the diary that said that all the trapdoors and secret passageways were, quote, "Luna's favorite," and how they pretty much put them in just for the fun of it. Nice little tidbit about the princesses' personalities, IMO. I guess they're using the diary as the replacement for the letters to Celestia, which makes sense. OH MAN WHAT IF THAT SHADOW PONY AT THE END WILL BE THE MAIN VILLlAIN IN THE SEASON FINALE *mad theories*

The Generosity song and sequence from the episode Rarity Takes Manhatten turns out to be a lot funnier played backwards, for anyone interested. Also, the last two songs have been pretty catchy, I'll admit. ^^ ...Speaking of Rarity Takes Manhatten, I find it weird how the Mane 6 forgave her that easily, or at least without too much hassle. She was pretty mean when she pretty much worked them to the bone, even with the stress. Also, why couldn't Rarity have easily proven to the head pony that Suri stole her idea? Even without the paper proof leading up to the process, she could still describe the process and more details of how the fabric was created while Suri would not have had that information. Heck, they could interview the two ponies separately if they need to. xD

BAAAATS. <3 Alright, far easily my favorite episode so far - this season is just wonderful. <3 Not much of a special plot, if you ask me. All of us can recall some comic book or another cartoon episode involving characters being hypnotized or turned into monsters, but MLP always does it better than other stories. It was freaking entertaining! <3 Flutterbat was creepy stuff! They should've released this in Halloween! Adored it, can't wait to watch it again!

You might like this. Speaking of Bats!... (and Power Ponies, and Castle Mane-ia...) We've had three 'it's over... or is it?'-type endings so far. First the Pony of Shadows, then the comic book disappearing, then Fluttershy still having at least one fang. I'm wondering if they're leading up to something. Also, a few thoughts on Pinkie Apple Pie: Isn't it possible that they could find a record of the Pie family history and compare it to the Apple one? It also does sound like there might be a bit of Pie in the Apples rather than the other way around.
Still, it does seem like there are a couple hints about them likely being related via behavioral similarities between Pinkie and Goldie. They both reply to somepony with '(something the other pony said/screamed), yourself,' followed by taking something from the bottom of a tall stack, but the stack not falling over.
Also, during the song, when Pinkie says 'swim, not sink' she tosses a sink out of the cart.
Big Mac packed everything and the kitchen sink! XDD And I guess that's all the eps they previewed at Comicon. I think it's really fun to see a finished animation after seeing the animatic. See the differences, in how polished it is as well as some of the details, and in how some parts may have actually changed.EDIT: oh wow GUYSI went and checked, too, after seeing that post. I had to do a lot of rapid play-and-pause, but it IS there!
