Looks like we've got the name of the villain now: Sunset Shimmer. What surprises me is that 1. she's a unicorn, 2. she does have a cutie mark, 3. she can use her magic so well despite apparently not being from Equestria. Granted, judging by the other trailer, she can apparently use magic in the human world too. Makes you wonder a few things about her. She's apparently won the Fall Formal for at least two years (though the first time may have been honest and normal, from her expression), so I'm guessing she's done it with at least one or two other worlds, too.

More cameos! Photo Finish is the obvious one, but there are others that go by more quickly.

I think we can hear one of Daniel Ingram's songs for the movie. Catchy.

Speaking of, from what I can gather, I think the school is named Canterlot and the school team is named Wonderbolts. (One of the lines of the song is "Canterlot, Wonderbolts, help her win the crown~!") It does look plausible: the school has a horse statue; probably the mascot or something. Also, one of the school banners has a couple horses and a horseshoe. Not sure why this is, but it does make some things Twilight has to do easier. The girls seem to be going with a pony/horse theme for Twilight's campaign, and I'm wondering if they take up the name Equestria Girls for said campaign. They're even wearing pony ears and tails from the look of it. (I did notice the pony ears in the previous trailer. I suspect Twilight may have showed them the book she brought [more noticeable in the other trailer] and explained things.)

More of Twilight being awkward at figuring out being human.

I'm pretty sure I saw Pinkie Pie still being Pinkie Pie.

Aaaand Spike can still talk. Possibly a nod to PowerPuff Girls?

I'm pretty sure Sunset Shimmer's already established as a unicorn back when her figure was officially introduced.

I still remembered back then fans theorizes if she'd replace Twilight Sparkle since the latter's coronation only to be shot down by Meghan McCarthy herself on Twitter.

What McCarthy didn't mentioned back then was the fact that doesn't stop Sunset Shimmer from being the main villain of the spin-off movie.

I'm pretty sure season 4 has been confirmed. Here's an article in EW that mentions MLP is coming back this winter (Warning: It contains Season 3 finale spoilers.) Looking around online, places like Equestria Daily have said it's gonna be a full 26 episode season, too.

I hate to be the one to bring it up but Twilight has always been a unicorn since the first season...

And besides, there'll be a fourth season, so you gotta wait for it like everyone did between seasons. (And if you really want to, go watch that spin-off humanization movie everyone's talking about while waiting for it.)
