Well, I decided to watch MLP:FiM not too long ago...
Ended up watching 15 episodes in a row.
It's so much better than I thought it would be. The episodes are well-written, the characters are likable and interesting, and it's not puke enducingly girlygirly.
The art style has also grown on me. It's not as weird-looking when you see them in action. (I still think their eyes are a little too large, though. XD)

It's really amusing that ponydoubters who end up watching the show, most often say they really like it. ;D

I like because I love the characters, which is a sure-fire way for me to love a show as a whole. At first I thought it was too girly for me to enjoy but it grew on me. And when I finished it, I was in love with it. <3
Plus Rarity's voice actress makes me giggle (in a good way). x3

I just finished watching the last episode of the first season. It was very fun to go through. xD
But yeah, I really liked the writing. I still found it predictable most of the time, but the writing was still overall fun. And I was able to care for all of the characters by the end of it.
Also, I still find it hilarious that Applejack and Rainbow Dash have the same voice actor. xD
I like how the animation is. Though their lack of snouts kind of gets to me sometimes. Sometimes, it makes their faces not look so pony-like. But I guess I'll forgive it because of everything else.
Yeah, it was fun. xD

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have the same voice actress. ^^;; They're voiced by Ashleigh Ball, whereas Rarity is voiced by Tabitha St. Germain. *nitpicky*

Oh, right, you're right, it is them. ^^; I knew Applejack shared a voice actress but I kept confusing who the other one is. *Fixes.* That one makes a bit more sense. ^^:

Ooooh, can I join? I started watching thanks to TV Tropes (I stalk the site regularly). I really didn't like the first two episodes; I thought they were kinda cliche. I continued watching anyways.

I can't even choose my favorite character, it's that good. *que corner-of-woe*

The MLP toys suck. Not only are they still completely motionless (come on Hasbro, we know you can do better. Give us some posable ponies!), they don't look anything like the characters they're supposed to represent. D': Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy have some... slight issues, don't you think?Well... Pinkie can turn into a psycho emo, and Fluttershy freaks out when she's rejected by animals. Nope, I see nothing wrong there. :D Oh yeah, not sure if anyone noticed... but Pinkie's singing voice is Shannon Chan-Kent aka Misa Amane from Death Note. XD NOTHING FRIGHTENING ABOUT THAT CONNECTION. :D |
