Tracy's art is superb, expressive, and full of character. Her writing is witty and moving. If she could just avoid making some very very basic comic mistakes, then her comic would really be near perfect.
Her balloons have always been placed awkwardly, always as an afterthought to the art, without enough consideration given for flow. For example, in row 3 of her recent page, the bubbles staying up-top keeps the eye from noticing the little inset panel of Zib reaching into his pocket, because the eye tends to go straight to the next panel's balloons instead. Also, she breaks the 180 rule twice on one page. It's not a huge deal, but it's subconsciously distracting.
That isn't to say that her comic's not one of the best webcomics out there, because it is. X3 Just that, if she'd fix some of those flow-issues, her comic could be one of the best examples of sequential art, right up there with things like Bone or Arkham Asylum.

I'm not familiar with the other works in her category, so I guess I can't comment on who I think should win. XD But still, that's super cool.
