Event Summaries
: Hello! I'm Docz! I run this part of the museum, the event summaries! People scrapbook important Taco events, sure. But that's a lot to read through! If you just want the general idea of what happened, you can read through this. These are in chronological order.
: How you can help: Write summaries. Write a short, one to five sentence summary for each part, then a quick summary of the entire thing as a whole. Include links to where it is scrapbooked. Also! Before you summarize! Be sure to call dibs on certain events so that two people aren't working on the same thing. If, however, you decide you can't finish something, just PM what you have and I'll open the remainder up to everybody else. Also, for the moment, only do Icy Taco events, unless it started on the Superbloid and went into the Taco.
Events being worked on:
- Ice Mage's Icy Taco Story; Ice Mage's Icy Taco Story 2- Hunter
: Be sure to look at the spoiler warnings before you read things! Many Taco events reference other series outside of the Taco, and some Taco events are themselves sequels to others.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
Evilworth and Edgeworth argue over who is the impostor before a fight is started between them. Evilworth creates a portal, shoves Edgeworth through it, and follows him through. Maya channels Gregory to see where Edgeworth was taken, and they find he’s been taken to Evilworth’s mansion.
Pearl tells the others that Godot is somewhere very dark, while he actually was demanding to see where Edgeworth is from Revenge. At the dark barrier surrounding Evilworth’s mansion, Evilworth’s voice taunts Godot, Mia, Gregory, and Lee; and they break the barrier. Beren shows up after Godot’s released from his “lost to darkness” mindset, and the group observes some graves that include Evilworth’s.
Inside, they come across a locked door and try to open it to no avail. They travel through rooms of destroyed furniture to find a key, and go upstairs. Peering into a bedroom, they find an odd gray creature there. It calls itself Zxlic, and confirms that it and Evilworth are science creations.
They step in another room to see a possessed Edgeworth, who initiates a fight with Godot. When he’s apprehended, Gregory goes inside Edgeworth’s mind to set him free from Evilworth, and with Godot’s help Evilworth is forced out. Evilworth threatens the group before a mysterious, extremely powerful dark force appears in the room and takes control of Evilworth’s mind.
Agent Lang appears and puts out the flames the possessed Evilworth creates. Gregory and Edgeworth go home while the others go to investigate the basement. They search through a dark, sinister lab until finding a second Myles Evilworth being held, though not awake. Evilworth, still under the control of the mysterious dark force, appears and scans the heroes before creating an earthquake and vanishing. Godot vanishes from Evilworth’s dark attack.
They manage to delete the data and flee, falling asleep at a safe place until going back to the mansion. Axl joins them, and they come across Evilworth II and the mysterious dark person. Evilworth II and the dark person combine and start an epic fight with the heroes until the mansion begins to countdown to an explosion.
They escape, the mansion explodes, and Evilworth begs for forgiveness. Godot returns, giving Evilworth a second chance. A diary written in code is shown, while they also find a machine part where the mansion used to be.
Agent Lang, Ky, Lee, and Axl follow a signal from the machine part to an underground lab, deep out in the darkness past the mansion. There in the lab is a man who introduces himself as ‘Dr. Lylin’, and says he’s responsible for everything that’s happened. He gives back a battered and close to dying Zxlic, shooing the rest out of his lab.
The Darker Side of the Mirror ends with a conversation between Revenge and Ambition, discussing Dr. Lylin and what plan he’ll work on next.
The first part of TDSOTM takes place at the Icy Taco. It started with a diceroll of Evilworth. Edgeworth draws his sword, the Flamberge, ahead of time while other characters such as Longcat are sent in. Evilworth taunts Edgeworth, saying he lacks proof of his identity, even though Evilworth never provided proof of his own.
It was by this time that a mysterious dark presence had visited several times and just observed. Keep that in mind for now.
Though Phoenix stands by Edgeworth to assist him, Evilworth makes a point of ignoring every character that’s not Edgeworth. Evilworth, however, confuses Phoenix by asking if he’s forgotten their friendship. Jindla jumps on Evilworth’s back, though he harshly throws the child to the ground. Kindleflare points out “This is why you don’t jump on the backs of evil crazy people”.
As Edgeworth and Phoenix say nothing will convince them that Evilworth is the real Edgeworth, darkness surrounds Edgeworth. Axl dashes in to help, firing a ray gun (a light-aligned weapon) at Evilworth. This is when Evilworth first shows his weakness to light, starting to bleed the way Edgeworth does when attacked with darkness.
Fed up with the fight, Evilworth shoves Edgeworth through a portal. Phoenix runs to try and save him, but Evilworth closes the portal behind him. Phoenix frets that he was ‘too late’ to save Edgeworth.
People of the Icy Taco mourn over Edgeworth, thinking he’s pretty much dead if he’s in the clutches of his doppelganger. Maya walks in to help find out where he is, as someone suggested finding out where the portal went. Maya channels Gregory Edgeworth (Edgeworth’s father) and learns he was taken to Evilworth’s Mansion. The Mansion is surrounded by an insanely powerful dark barrier.
Off in the dark nothingness, Revenge and Manfred von Karma talk about the turn of events. Revenge leaves, saying he needs to go think of something. Just then Godot breaks in, silhouetted in shadows and glaring without his visor on. He demands that Manfred tell him where Revenge is. When Manfred doesn’t comply, he threatens him with a cane-sword, which is covered in blood.
Revenge enters, commenting he heard Godot enter. He quickly realizes Godot is lost to darkness, and Godot asks where Edgeworth is. It’s hinted that Godot’s blaming himself for Edgeworth’s abduction since he wasn’t there to protect him. Revenge agrees to tell him where Edgeworth is if Godot won’t turn back to the light. He agrees and leaves to go to the mansion. Von Karma remarks that they’re not so different after all.
Things continue with a conversation between Lee and Phoenix. Lee asks if Phoenix has seen Godot, though he hasn’t. According to Lee, Godot’s aura exploded in power and then vanished. Either Godot went to visit the spirit world, or that he is destroyed, or that he is lost to darkness.
Axl walks in, and Lee asks if he’s seen Godot. He hasn’t, so Lee asks where Maya is. Phoenix says she might be busy. Lee first learns that Edgeworth was kidnapped by his evil doppelganger from Phoenix before they bring in Pearl. She tries to find where Godot is, and she comments “it’s really dark”. Phoenix says Mia is probably with Gregory at the barrier. Lee creates a portal there, and steps through.
Mia and Gregory are there, trying to break the dark barrier surrounding the mansion. Lee tells Mia that Godot is lost to darkness, and adds that he’s sure Godot went to see his ancestor. One way to bring him back to his senses would be with light magic. A voice comments on the supposed rudeness of breaking down the barrier, and upon calling Gregory ‘father’ they realize it’s Evilworth’s voice.
A strong burst of murderous dark aura interrupts, and Godot steps out of the darkness with wings of a demon while clutching the bloodied cane-sword. He screams at Evilworth’s voice that he’s going to kill him, though Evilworth calmly explains he’s inside with their “little friend” Edgeworth. Evilworth tells them that they can’t hurt him without hurting Edgeworth, and then vanishes.
With the help of Godot, the barrier breaks down. Mia tries to talk Godot down from his enraged state, and Lee tells Mia to use a light attack to bring him back to normal. She creates a light bow and arrow and shoots it at Godot, engulfing him in a swirl of light and darkness.
Godot’s returned to normal, though still doesn’t have his visor. After Beren’s appearance (claiming he was trying to keep a “mad wolf in his den”), they observe 4 graves next to the house. One reads ‘Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth’. Gregory refuses to believe Edgeworth is dead, and keeping Evilworth’s warning in mind about not being to hurt Edgeworth, forceful possession is decided as what happened to Edgeworth. The other grave is so old and worn it can’t be read, the second grave is the same, and one grave reads ‘Myles Evilworth’. They sink into darkness.
‘Miles Edgeworth is dead’ is written on the door in blood as they approach. The door is locked. Godot wonders if only prosecutors could open the door and presents his badge. The door swings open. It’s cold and dark inside, with portraits inside of Evilworth.
They come across a room with 3 closed doors and a gold statue of Evilworth inside. Godot tries to open one of the doors with his badge, Lee tries to float through the ceiling, Lee creates a key out of darkness, and they even observe the statue, but nothing works in opening the door to the right.
They continue down a hallway to see a kitchen and dining room, with destroyed furniture in each, with claw marks. In a nearby room they find a key, and go back to the room with the statue. They use the key to open the room to the right, and go upstairs. Upstairs is another room with several doors. Heading to the right, they see a small, gray, humanoid creature with blue gem-like eyes laying on the bed, wearing a white cloak. It introduces itself as the ‘dark presence’ that haunted the Taco for a while, and confirms that he and Evilworth are both scientific creations. It calls itself ‘Zxlic’, and warns about the immense power of their creator.
Things take a turn for the worse when Zxlic is seemingly possessed, with his eyes turning red. He springs into an attack, though the others leave the room and cover it with a barrier. Outside the room, Godot mutters to himself that the Ambassador was right in guessing Evilworth was a science creation. In one last moment of clarity, Zxlic throws Godot a key before turning evil again. They unlock another door and proceed down a hallway, until they find Miles Edgeworth.
Edgeworth is possessed by Evilworth, and has all of his powers. He attacks the group, though Lee and Lee Sr. hold Edgeworth in place with chains. Gregory puts his hand over Edgeworth’s heart, glows with light, and vanishes into his consciousness.
There he sees Edgeworth in chains and Evilworth nearby. Gregory shouts to leave his son alone, and Evilworth sneers that he is Gregory’s son. He threatens to destroy Edgeworth if Gregory gets any closer. Godot appears behind Evilworth and blasts him with light. Evilworth cryptically says that if Edgeworth leaves, he’s going to suffer a fate worse than death. Godot proceeds to kick Evilworth out. They remove Edgeworth’s chains.
Outside, Evilworth is forced out and questioned by Beren. Evilworth only continues to ramble about how Evilworth is about to suffer a terrible fate, and when Godot appears, he taunts him about the murder he’s committed. Gregory and Edgeworth appear in time for an extremely powerful dark force to explode into the room. Evilworth smirks, though instead the dark force berates Evilworth and takes control of his mind. Evilworth looks at Gregory and Mia for help one last time before it happens.
An earthquake starts, if only to torment Edgeworth. After it subsides, Agent Lang appears to help. Possessed Evilworth comments that Evilworth never owned the mansion, but he did. He spreads dark flames across the room and vanishes; Lang submerges the room in water to put it out. Zxlic gives Lang a key and asks him to accompany him to the basement, while Gregory and Edgeworth go home to heal.
Off in the dark nothingness, Revenge and von Karma talk about what’s happened and hear Evilworth calling out to them. They meet at an undisclosed location. Evilworth is bloody, beaten, weak, and powerless. Revenge and VK, unimpressed, ask why he’s wasting their precious time when the dark force appears and controls Evilworth again. He heads back to the mansion.
Back inside the basement, the walls are seen to be covered with unusual symbols, the floor is covered with blood and littered with corpses, and there’s several machines. They take several pictures and some papers, continuing on warily, and enter a large freezing room. There are 5 doors, labeled as-
Door 1- SUBJECT 018348A
Door 2- SUBJECT 000001Z
Door 3- SUBJECTS 000EBETA1 and 000EBETA2
Door 4- SUBJECT 0004M22
The labeling is torn off of door 5.
Zxlic explains the situation to the blind Godot. Door 3 was determined to have the most darkness behind it, and upon trying to enter, they are prompted for a 4 digit entry code. They try several codes unsuccessfully, until Mia offers ‘1228’. The door cryptically swings open.
Inside are two large steel cylinders and a computer. The computer tells them that ‘Myles Evilworth 1’ was released and ‘Myles Evilworth 2’ is preserved. A wave of darkness shoots through the room as possessed Evilworth appears, hitting Godot. Godot can’t take the pain any further and vanishes, much to the amusement of Evilworth. Lang fires his blaster, which Evilworth almost mockingly allows to hit him.
Evilworth (possessed, of course) tries to scan every person before creating an earthquake and vanishing. It fortunately subsides later, only hurting Zxlic with a broken ceiling fragment. Lee erases the data from the computer and they escape in a portal, going to one of the Ambassador’s places. They sleep for several days.
They choose to go back to the mansion later to see it’s sunk into the darkness. Axl is outside, and they join up, going through a portal back to the lab. They receive an error trying to get into door 5 and escape, but create a portal and go elsewhere in the mansion. Zxlic finds a book that was invisible, which is all written in the code (symbols) from earlier.
Finally they encounter Evilworth II and the dark person. The room is covered in darkness as they combine, though dispelled by Lee and Lee Sr.
They fight, Axl taking pictures.
The mansion counts down from 60 to an explosion as they all escape. The group all reappears at the fringes of Tabloid Town, just as the mansion explodes. Evilworth falls out of a portal, again looking like he’s about to die. He literally begs for healing, admitting the error of his ways. Mia reluctantly heals him as he starts to vanish.
Godot returns, Agent Lang also entering. He tells Evilworth he can go if he promises not to enter the suburb, while Godot agrees to give Evilworth one second chance. Evilworth gives his first sincere smile and leaves. Some others agree to look through the remains of the mansion and leave.
At the former site of the mansion, all that remains is a crater filled with broken machines and furniture. Ema is called in to help, and they find a skeleton of an adult male who is missing an arm. Also found is a machine part, which prompts them for the 4 digit entry code. Ky examines it and realizes it uses a transmitter each time a code is entered.
At the Ambassador’s place, Axl and the Ambassador talk about the decoded diary, and the pure evilness each entry contained.
Everything starts to wrap up when a group goes to where the machine part sent transmissions to. They travel through the darkness beyond Evilworth’s mansion, eventually finding a steel platform. The platform descends into a lab, much like the one at the mansion.
They meet a human man, wearing a lab coat. Ky asks a question about why he did it, why he created the creations, why he put everyone through so much trouble. The man gave an evil laugh, his eyes glowing blood red. Slowly, he took out a syringe and filled it with an odd chemical, saying he either did it for scientific advancement… Or his own amusement. He turns to the group, asking if they wonder why he’s so cruel and terrible. Afraid, they ask why he’d make such an unstable cross of DNA.
He laughs, saying he knew all along Evilworth would live the most miserable life. He didn’t care at all, as he shows by giving them Zxlic back, who was unconscious. The man says they ‘never finished their nice experiments’.
By this time he told them all to leave, threatening them. Agent Lang demands to know why the man was so much against Edgeworth, only inspiring him to take out a syringe and ask if he’s ever witnessed a murder. He throws everyone for a loop by claiming to have witnessed DL-6, and starts using one of the nearby machines. Ky shoots water at the machine instinctively. The man turns around, smirking at her, threatening to ‘make her pay’. Lee creates a portal, letting some people flee.
The man again commands them to leave, showing them what looks like a torture chamber. Lee asks the man’s name. He spends a moment, possibly thinking, before calling himself ‘Doctor Lylin’. The man vanishes, as do Lee and the rest.
It ends off in the dark nothingness. Revenge and Ambition converse, saying Dr. Lylin put on a good show. They say should an unexpected equation show up in his future plans, it could change everything.
The Lighter Side of the Mirror
Summarized by Drew
Scrapbooked Here!…And the only thing it spoilers is The Darker Side of The Mirror. Go read that first.
The Lighter Side of The Mirror starts far away from Tabloid Town, with a shadowy character ‘Unknown’ kidnapping Lucas. Zxlic witnesses the event and teleports off to enlist the help of Myles Evilworth in helping him, worrying that Dr. Lylin is behind this. They agree they’ll need help in taking down Dr. Lylin and Zxlic enlists the assistance of Sgt. Guy, Gantrat, and a mysterious girl named Lira that asks if she can help.
Lira claims to be Dr. Lylin’s daughter. Zxlic, thinking they have no time, hurries them all to Lylin’s Lab (to Evilworth’s dismay, not trusting Lira) and they enter to find a body on an examining table, under a sheet. Before they can take a look at who it is, Lira threatens them and before she attacks, Portsman (who was watching them earlier) enters and shoots Lira, setting the others free. Evilworth questions her before she steals a notebook from him and vanishes.
They look under the sheet to find a robot of Lucas, unusually enough since Dr. Lylin doesn’t create robots. Sgt. Guy suggests finding out where the portal went, and they teleport to a dark area to find a possessed Lucas waiting for them. He flees but ends up caught by Portsman, though Lucas teleports to Evilworth’s crater. They all follow. Lucas is freed from possession by a voice, and Unknown (the kidnapper) vanishes. Dr. Lylin appears and starts a fight with the heroes, though is killed by Lucas and Evilworth in the end.
Elsewhere, Unknown listens to a message from Dr. Lylin on the Lucas robot. Lylin claims he’s not dead, and Unkown exits the lab with the Lucasbot.
Lucas wanders about far from Tabloid Town. Unknown appears, saying he knows Lucas.. Lucas tries to run, but Unknown freezes him in place and takes him through a portal. Zxlic watches the last part, unable to move in fear. He remembers Evilworth kidnapping Edgeworth that way, and Dr. Lylin appearing as an unknown shadow. Thinking Lylin’s behind this, he goes to see Evilworth.
Evilworth is near the former site of his mansion, holding a notebook full of symbols. Zxlic asks for his help in saving the kid, and Evilworth hesitates. He doesn’t think it’s actually Lylin who kidnapped Lucas, but agrees to help Zxlic if they can have other people come with them to the lab. Zxlic calls Gantrat to help them, who drags along Sgt. Guy. Any other Shy Guy would try and attack Evilworth, but Sgt. Guy doesn’t really care, allowing them to join forces. Lira asks to help them, agreeing that she can fight and claims to be Dr. Lylin’s daughter. They depart to the lab with Portsman watching them.
At the lab, they see a person under a sheet on an examining table. As they’re going to see who it is, Lira tells them to stop and freezes Evilworth in place. She’s about to kill him when Portsman enters (with a dramatic objection) and shoots Lira, saying he was going to bring Evilworth to justice but found an ally of Lylin’s instead. Evilworth questions Lira, and she steals the notebook full of symbols and vanishes. Portsman agrees to help them, seeing all of Evilworth’s allies nearby, and they move the sheet on the table to find a Lucas robot. At first they think it’s Lucas, but Evilworth proves it’s a robot, though not knowing why Lylin would create one.
Not sure where to go next, Sgt. Guy speaks up and offers to track where the portal went. They agree and end up in a dark room, though Evilworth doesn’t recognize it as one of Lylin’s hideouts. They see Lucas possessed with evil red eyes, and he flees from them down a hallway. Portsman gets him, but Lucas teleports to the former site of Evilworth’s mansion. Sgt. Guy figures out where they went and creates a portal for the group.
A voice calls out to Lucas, protecting him if he’s attacked. Unknown is forced out of Lucas’ mind, and with a threat, vanishes. Dr. Lylin then appears, expressing his amusement at watching Evilworth run around on the other side this time. He’s saying that in TDSOTM, he was an antagonist that tried to kill someone who was kidnapped, but this time he was trying to save someone who was kidnapped. He stabs the heroes with a syringe left and right, only leaving Lucas. He uses a PK Starstorm to hit Lylin, and heals Evilworth. Lylin changes to a light form, and fights them both. Lucas blinds Lylin for a brief moment with an attack, leaving him vulnerable for Evilworth to finish him off with his sword.
It ends in Lylin’s lab with a message on the Lucasbot. Unknown listens to it. The message says Lylin isn’t dead and that since the Lucasbot is finished, Lylin and Unknown aren’t allies anymore. Unknown leaves the lab.
Rinamians and MegaMan
Note: This is an ongoing event, of sorts, consisting of interactions between robotic characters of different Writers. While an exhaustive summary would be impossible, Omni has written an essay describing the situation in general terms.
Much of this, however, can be found at
Here There Be Robots.
Short version: Many Rinamians and many MegaMan-world Robots aren't likely to get along anytime soon.
Long version: While one would think that the two groups would get along well – both groups being of sentient Robots that seem to be caught in perpetual war – they have two very different backgrounds with different world-issues and different views. These issues are as such that they conflict and contradict each-other, and each group stands on the opposite side of the spectrum from the other group, each trying to 'convert' the others while stubbornly clinging to their own views.
Rinam:
Rinam is a large nation spanning many, varied environments. Rinam is mostly populated by Robots and Lesks (animal-like humanoids), but is also the home to many Cyborgs, Stitch Dollies (essentially re-animated corpses), refugee Humans, and a few other sentients.
Rinam is at war with the neighboring nation of Sermek. Sermek is a country populated by superpowered-Humans and ruled by the Mage-King, who is a personal enemy of Luska, the Queen of Rinam. This is due to the fact that he stole her soul and has tried to have her killed more times then anyone feels like counting. Despite being the queen, Luska has little to do with how Rinam is ruled. Three of the original six "Progenitor" robots are the ones control the nation.
The official view Rinam takes on Human-Robot relations is that Robots and Humans will be capable of existing together peacefully once the anti-everything-not-human Sermekian government is overthrown. Rinamians believe that robots, Lesks, Cyborgs, and Stitch Dollies are just as much of a "people" as Humans are, and that they all should have equal rights. Rinamians try to capture rather than kill their Human attackers. This practice was in place before they discovered they could continuously harvest power from living Humans. Experiments are mostly preformed on the bodies of the already dead.
The official view Sermek takes on Human-Robot relations is that Robots are machines created by a demon and that they need to be destroyed. This demon is Queen Luska, who is aided by other demons, the Lesks, who also need to be destroyed. Cyborgs and "Stitch Dollies" are abominations that must also be destroyed. Only after these evil creatures have been eliminated will the planet be cleansed.
All Robots created after the founding of Rinam have been female.
MegaMan world:
The MegaMan world is a variation of Earth where Human-like Robots have been successfully developed. To help ensure safety the, the Three Laws of Robotics have been implemented:
1. Don't harm Humans.
2. Obey orders from Humans.
3. Protect yourself.
In earlier generations, the Three Laws are hard-coded into their systems. However, there have actually been occasions where someone would (re)program Robots to harm Humans. On these occasions, a Robot named MegaMan has risen up to fight the Robot attackers, in order to set things right and restore peace. Robots going berserk has come to be known as a sign of trouble.
In later generations, it is possible for the Robots, known as 'Reploids,' to break the Three Laws of their own free will. This would not be such a big problem if every one that apparently did so didn't insist on breaking the first one to the ultimate extreme. Reploids that break these laws, or otherwise cause trouble, are known as 'Mavericks,' and are usually disposed of quickly by Maverick Hunters (or, in later times, by the Four Guardians and their armies).
Mavericks usually occur when a Reploid is infected with a particular, unusual virus. Maverick Hunters are not immune to this virus, and have gone Maverick themselves at times. Uninfected Reploids generally don't break the Three Laws, whether they agree with them, just don't see a reason to break them, or just fear being labeled a Maverick.
The reprogramed Robots generally did not no much except cause random chaos and large delays. Mavericks, on the other hand, have orchestrated detailed, thought-out plans to cause mass destruction and/or eliminate all of mankind. One of the most infamous Maverick plots involved spreading the Maverick Virus like wildfire, and infecting a space colony, setting it on a crash-course for Earth. The impact of the colony caused so much dust and other pollutants to spread into the atmosphere, that it forced the lucky Human survivors to hide underground for a long time, and caused several Reploids to malfunction.
Overall, Humans are generally pictured as fragile and weak. Whether this means they should be destroyed or protected depends on the Reploid/Robot you ask. The former is the response usually given by Mavericks and the like. In any case, Robots that cause harm of any sort to Humans are viewed as something to be dealt with, and fast.
While the Reploids and Robots from the MegaMan world come in male and female varieties, they are mostly male.
Conclusion: As you might be able to guess, the trouble in relations comes primarily from each group's views on Humans, and secondarily, how the different groups treat their fellow Robots. The 'MegaMen' are infuriated that the Rinamians would hurt Humans in any sense; the fact that some Rinamians tend to speak as if everyone has the same view doesn't help. Neither do they like how well they seem to get along with the Robot Masters. Meanwhile, on the other side of the coin, Rinamians are appalled at how 'MegaMen' almost seem to be eager to take out Robot criminals; the fact that they've actually received death threats for their actions doesn't help.
There have been multiple clashes of opinions and values already. Thankfully, these clashes haven't led to any physical blows yet. Still, when or even if they'll be able to set aside these differences is yet to be seen.
