Mmkay. I had an idea for a NaNo story...
However, there are a few problems with this:
1. I haven't planned out the story and I'm not much of an on-the-fly writer.
2. I don't have much interest in this story at this time, so I just know that I would drift from it.
3. I've got a lot of other writing projects that I want to work on, but have been procrastinating on.
So this year, instead of writing a particular story, I think I'll work on a bunch of stories sitting on my to-do list and collectively count them toward my wordcount for the sake of getting them done. I'm also going to count editing old stories (assuming I edit a large enough portion of the words), otherwise I'm going to procrastinate on those as well.
So... here's to getting writing done.
A kingdom's king has been overthrown, and now is ruled by an evil man. The prince still survives, outcast, and when he is of age, he sets out to regain his kingdom. However, in his journeys, he is constantly making justifications for his actions, many of which center upon simply getting him to the throne. The current king hears of the prince's attempts and does various deeds in an attempt to stop him. Naturally, it is a dark time for the kingdom.
