78465 words, because I spent most of today reading. >>
I think I saw PFA had taken her NaNo characters to the Taco Cart. Why didn't I think of that? The characters can get lots of exercise, and you get to know them better. Too late now, must spend time writing.

82918 words. I was actually kind of hoping for something like 86k for today. Strange how that works out. Or not so strange. But I do want to get as much done before the 20th as I can.
Tired. But have things to write. Last sentence I wrote was about a statuette and a religious experience. Still trying to think of something appropiate. I wonder if a nap would help. Maybe after getting this sentence finally right. And writing a bit more after that to get to 83k. And then when I do the wordcount it'd be something like 83,016, and I'd think to myself that that's so close to 83,100 and that'd be 900 less words for tomorrow, so I write those, and then it's 83,154 so why not 83,200, and so on.

85484 words. I haven't been able to focus on this lately; I know how the next part goes, but not how this all ultimately ends. It definitely isn't going to end at 100k, though. Oddly enough, I've been remembering an older NaNo thing I did back in...June? I think it was June. I remember the NaNo, but not when I wrote it.

86836 words. I probably would have made it to 90k if I hadn't been distracted. Or tired. Still not really sure of an ending. The writing quality seems to have dropped. Maybe I'd just end it at that one point, call it Part 1, and pretend I know what happens next. Eh.

*cheers you on*
Writing quality has frequent dips in NaNo. ^_^ Just when you think things can't possibly get worse... there's always a new standard of low. =D
... not to say that's true for you, of course.

*cheers you on* Writing quality has frequent dips in NaNo. ^_^ Just when you think things can't possibly get worse... there's always a new standard of low. =D ... not to say that's true for you, of course. =D Thanks! Both for the cheering and telling me my writing doesn't get that bad. =D Anyway, the cheering seems to have worked, because 100084. ^_^ 13248 since yesterday. The last 3k are basically a science lesson, but who cares Somewhat more relevant is the fact that I'm still not entirely sure how to end this thing. >> I mean, I know what happens after this, and that will probably take some more words, but then there's no ending, no real sense of closure to anything. Maybe I can slow down and see if that gives me time to think of something. I have homework to do tomorrow anyway, time for a bit of a break. ^_^ ...You know, there's also all those things that I felt like trying during the past 19 days, but couldn't because of NaNo. I have copies of A Fire Upon the Deep, Machine of Death (which I got after Teow mentioned it on the Reader's Challenge thread) and God's Debris. And I want to download and try Iji and Transcendence, because Iji is supposed to have an interesting story and Transcendence is supposed to be kind of like Nethack. (Which reminds me, I'd like to do a Let's Play of Deus Ex here someday because of the awesome story, except that's an M rated game and there's no way it'd make it past the rules.) ...Or I could actually go to sleep before midnight tonight. That might be interesting.

100332. << Really quite a bit of a slowdown there. Must find my writing groove again. Also it snowed today. Which has nothing to do with anything, but yeah. Snowmen, waiting for you to play Snowmen, looking for kids to slay Snowmen, everywhere waiting for you!

Forgot to update this. Tuesday was 100799 words. Today the NaNo site says I have 101243 words. The ending is only vaguely less foggy. Sleeeeeep. Sleep is for the responsible. Am I responsible? I don't know, let's find out.

101839. I really ought to either start shutting off my Internet or using Write or Die if I want to get this any further before the end of November. I have no desire to acknowledge the concepts of "being tired" or "burnout."

102927 words. Maybe I shouldn't have installed Iji last week, I've only gotten 2k in the past seven days. This is very sad. I'll just have to try to get some writing done before going to sleep tonight or maybe I'll keep going with my pacifist Nanomaster run first.
I haven't posted many excerpts over the past few days, have I? It's mostly because I don't seem to have anything that's really excerpt worthy; either it's terrible or it's a bit of a plot spoiler, insofar as I have a plot right now. Eh. Also the power button on this computer monitor looks like a blue glowing eye at the right angle, which is totally irrelevant but eh.

103412 words. Also, I'm a lunkhead who spent today thinking that November had 31 days and would end on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. >> I almost have an idea of where to go next, but the details of how to reach the next plot point I want to hit are kind of nonexistant. I don't know how much the characters need to get done before I can feasibly start on that plot thing.
...On the other hand, I can probably handwave any information discrepancies with the use of WorldNet and powered flight.
...I really should have spent half an hour on Thursday or something just trying to get an outline together again.
Hmm, maybe I can bring in Lain next, and then Sheovis...I can't think of any names for the random people At'os should know and who should be arriving...eh, another WorldNet handwave.

105524 words ah ha ha ha ha ha I'm not going to finish this thing before November ends Well, at least I know not to install new games (or for that moment start reading enticing new books too) while doing NaNo or NaNo-like activities. This was a little too long for a break. On the other hand, I have ideas for Spirit Week now. =D
