I did fix it in Level 5, but I forgot to do the same for Level 7. xD; Also, I should have the next version up very soon, so once I do, maybe that would help you complete your playthrough? ^_^ XD Ohnoes. Woohoo. Maybe it will. I haven't had a lot of time to work on getting a good run, that's why it is taking so long. (plus the things I mentioned above, of course) XD Don't feel bad. xD I haven't had time to the fix the game up yet myself, on account of being with Leo and little Issie.

I finally finished level 3! And I found the epic equipment. :3 (You were right, Killix, it was right under all our noses. XD) I still don't get that clue >.>

Why does the starting text suddenly reminds me of Eversion? So I'm not the only one who thought that? =D Heck, the whole of level 7 (well, what I saw in Yoyote's video anyway) reminds me of Eversion. And it is awesome.

Yoyote, I just watched your playthrough, and I gotta say, you did an incredible job against the final boss. =D Why does the starting text suddenly reminds me of Eversion? So I'm not the only one who thought that? =D Heck, the whole of level 7 (well, what I saw in Yoyote's video anyway) reminds me of Eversion. And it is awesome. Wow, that game is more popular than I thought. xD I'll bet you learned about it through TV Tropes, didn't you? In any case, thank you. x3 Anyway, new version is up, folks! jadephoenix.org/jpgame/Ecksdee_0.97.zipI took a crack at fixing those bugs, and I also fixed the wonky puzzle piece Killix mentioned, so if you have version 0.97, you don't have to PM her.

I get about 95% of my 'things-to-watch/read/play' from there. And you're welcome! ^^ *downloads* Shinyshiny. ^_^

Why does the starting text suddenly reminds me of Eversion? ...Holy crap, you've played that? xD No, I watched its Let's Play on Youtube. Seeing how the player does it, its like crippling sanity and/or loss of souls... And alike Celestial, I first heard of it from TV Tropes.

The link isn't working, Strife. I get a connection time-out from it.

I believe the problem is related to jadephoenix.org, because I can't seem to log into it to view the files. I'd say wait a while for now.

Oh strife, I was wondering if you could make the tiles for the secret weapon bigger, Because i had an idea of the password, but it took me really long to test it because i kept stepping on two tiles by accident. (it wasn't the right code either >.<

That's probably because you ended up jumping there straight from the password screen. xD; Though I didn't mean for it to show up at all if you entered the password, as it'd be pretty redundant. Also, by lockup, do you mean that Killix get caught inside a wall, or?

I haven't had a lot of time to work on getting a good run, that's why it is taking so long. (plus the things I mentioned above, of course) XD Don't feel bad. xD I haven't had time to the fix the game up yet myself, on account of being with Leo and little Issie. *nods* It's just a game to play for fun, after all. I have to say though, Strife, this was one of the most addicting games I've played! It took me an enormous amount of self-control to stop playing and go study when I had to. ^^; When the final boss speeds up, she can lock you by throwing you into pits and then flying into you and heaving a barrage of beams into you at the edge of the screen where you can't escape, it's pretty unfair, and almost always results in instant death. That's usually about the time I start to die to. I could be doing really well, but that speed up.... It kicks my butt. I died loads of times at that point too. ^^; The main thing to do is to switch mental rhythms, fire less and run more. Only look back and fire once or twice when there's the largest possible distance between you and the boss (and when you're in the middle of a platform and don't have to worry about jumping), then continue running to widen the gap. There's luck involved too, because usually by that time I'm so excited/nervous that a single additional slip would result in death. Oh random fun thing that happened in the game, where I wish I took a picture. When fighting Huntress, there was this one time where I won with her against the wall, and it looked like Killix was holding her by the throat threatening like XD In reality it was the winning ninja star to the face But still looked cool XD Lol! I can imagine that. I wish you'd taken a screenshot! Yoyote, I just watched your playthrough, and I gotta say, you did an incredible job against the final boss. =D Thanks! I was all "OMG! I'm abouttodieabouttodieabouttodie," but I clung on to that one last bar of life and survived. XDDD And I thought Crobot was a hard boss! The final boss was most thrilling - good job on making it so evil! I never heard of Eversion, but I was thinking Megaman for most of the game XD Especially level 7 Oh man, something tells me it's not a good idea to go check out those games... >_> In any case, I think SuperEcksdee is one game I'm going to be replaying when I need to de-stress. =D Also, I'm really curious about that secret weapon. Shall have to try to unlock it sometime.

Also, by lockup, do you mean that Killix get caught inside a wall, or? Ah, okay. XD (Although, all levels show the passwords when you enter them via a password) Not "lockup" A lock trap. Like a wall-lock or a stun-lock... or... uhh, I don't know what else they might be called. XD Where you are trapped in a combo you cannot escape from until you die. Everything is do-able and fair until she speeds up. If you're not hugging the edge of the screen - outruning her is a huge luck-based mission.
For example - most of the time I stay slightly ahead of the middle. area so I can attack her. If she does the slamming/charge ram of death, I can't outrun it.
She can also fire her beamfire attacks while at the edge of the screen. It's impossible to avoid. :{
Here's what happened on my last run:
-Doing okay, had half HP. -Boss speeds up and fires attack. -I dodge and fire a few attacks. -Boss fires attack. -I dodge and fire a few attacks. -Boss does slam/charge move. -Can't outrun - hit into the air. Land safely. -Boss fires attack (while still at the edge of the screen). -Can't escape - hit, knocked into a hole. Stuck under hole. Hole shoots me out into boss. Dead.
I'm not sure how it could be remedied so it's not so... cheap... with the death it throws at you. XD
