*has just had an excellent idea concerning the rats* If Owen and Celestial are making this deal but want it to stay hush-hush, the rats (assuming they can talk. >> No reason why they can't, this is the NTWF) can easily spread the gossip around Brassport and let people know that this deal is being made. That way a riot can break out.
Anyway who is controlling the rats like the idea and want to implement it? ^^ I just don't feel right as a mage to control Steampunk NPCs.

I'm really stuck. Eli spent his entire day cleaning and holding a staring contest with a rat, and I feel he should do something else. Is there any way someone could throw me a lifeline? ^^;;

You could have the rat lead you somewhere. Or have a group of rats come in or something XD It might take a while before I get Gil (and maybe Toshiro) into the story more. But things seem to be running smoothly  And the rat stuff is fun ^ Especially thinking of them as a joke when they first appeared. |

There's also Ikkin to take into account. I'm led to believe that she's still secretly on Celestial's tail (although we'll need Ikkin herself to confirm that - she's been without a personal computer for about a week now). If not, though, she could definitely hear the 'disturbing' news from the rats on her way over and help incite some conflict that way as well. I could also jump in at some point with my knight character to represent the kingdom of Dunburrow in these ongoing negotiations. That, and he'd probably be eager to upgrade his swords with steampunk technology. xD; We'll see. ...I read Jina's last line in her latest post as "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!" xD |

If the plot slows down too much, I can have the Author play the role of Mysterious Rumourmonger who can spread the rumour of the alliance through Brassport. But that's last resort. xD I'd really not like to use Plot DeviceTM.
