Sorry, Tiger, I tried to wait for you, but things move apace.
Also, anyone wandering the city streets, feel free to find Oscar, I think he'll need a bit of help. ^^ Malinovka and his band of merry sheeple will be entering the city soon.

So... looks like I'll be the one controlling Locke (at least for the time being). Hey, I don't mind. He should be interesting to play! I actually wrote a description of Locke in my latest post, but I took it out because I thought it was too long (and frankly, Locke doesn't deserve a wall of text describing what he looks like). I think I might edit in a short version later on, but the original, more detailed version will go here. Locke was fairly tall - taller than the short dragon-man, at least. He was also dressed in mismatched clothes with eye-burning colours and patterns. If that wasn't enough, his otherwise humanlike body had a furry tail, no visible ears, obnoxious green hair, and eyes that constantly changed colour. (He was quite the showoff.) (I imagine Drakhé/D-man being about 5'8", while Locke's closer to 6 feet tall. Funny thing is, Drakhé is probably the second-shortest of my GW characters [the ninja panther I used in GW3 is 5'7"]... I use a lot of tall characters for some reason. Also, I'm probably the only person in the NTWF who would think that a paragraph could be too long for a physical description. >_> I NEEDZ TO WRITE MOAR, LOLZ Then again, I recently got hit with a double-whammy of sickness and I'm pretty sure that the state of being sick is affecting my brain. It's nothing serious, but still.)

Say Strife, it's about the steampunk rats. See, Draco and I were talking about it and we were of the opinion that they couldn't really talk. Of course that's just our opinion so yeah. Would they be better as squeaking or talking? Because I never really saw them as a major plot point but more of a side story.

Mhm. Emily's more than a bit crazy so y'know ... but the rat still "chittered in her ear" so ... yeah. ^^; Plus, I mean, Draco did create the concept (with Scar's help) and I know if I created something for others to use I'd want them to adhere to my ideas. Kiddo could probably relate with the Underdeep, Scar with the Loft and suchlike.

Celestial did say that she wanted to start a riot, and it would be rather difficult to do that if nobody could understand them (with the exception of people who might speak their language, but still). xD; As an alternative, maybe I could adjust my post so that the rat uses wild sign language that Ikkin can somehow understand. Thoughts?

Thoughts? I think the idea was that they squeak like normal rats, but that they can somehow be understood? I dunno, you'd need to ask Draco or Scar.

Thoughts? The thing is I never thought they'd be talking to anyone else ^^; I imagined them more as a in the background sort of group. Then again if it'll move the plot forward go ahead I suppose Though you do realize this means a talking Whiskar, Gentleman Adventurat right? xD

That's true, Sarn. xD Perhaps while we're RPing as one of the rats, it seems like they're talking from that point of view, but from the point of view of the regular characters, they're only talking in squeaks?
In any case, this wouldn't be the first case of talking rodents - Bloody Mary talks, and Zylaa's weasels even sing. xD

I think in the future they may start talking However at the moment wild cartoon like sign language would work best. And of course the rats would understand each other and think the normal people could understand them, but fail XD And other animals/rodents could most likely understand them if they ran into them. In a sense they are still evolving in this RP, but for the most part background characters. A little plot is fine of course though XD Edit: And I can only imagine a talking Whiskar, Gentleman Adventurat. ^^;971

Well, if this is a slow part, it would be a good time for a new character (me?) to possibly stir things up. :3

In the next couple of days I really need to start reading to catch up XD For the most part I think I'm stuck in California right now ^^; So might as well continue the RP soon instead of waiting to get home.

I'm going to be out on surgery recovery time for a while so I'll make one last post and then Scar, Cele and Jina can take over joint control of Emily. Scar will also take over Sarinon, though that doesn't mean all that much when she's KO'd. xD Be back as soon as I can.
