...You're my hero, Omni. xD Thank you so much!
Because of the simplistic style of the graphics, all I really need to do is add basic shading to the bridge and erase the black lines. ^_^

[shadow=purple,left,300]Shweet, Strifey! =D Sounds awesome!
And yeah, Kat can't be in the game 'cause she'll just end up talking Ikkin's ears off and totally ruining the plot, hur. XD[/shadow]

Thanx guise. ^_^ I've been making great progress. I started work on the first dungeon of the game last week, and now it's pretty much finished except for the boss battle. Here are a handful of screenies from the dungeon: Some rooms will require you to slide down a pulley to reach lower levels of the dungeon. They're attached to the ceiling, so you'll need to jump in order to reach them. Also, take a look at the text at the bottom of the screen. I revamped the game's font to make it look more shiny. ^_^ At this point in the game, monsters start getting fancier attacks. You'll need to stay on your guard and learn what tactics work best against different enemies. For once, I added a monster that I didn't originally draw myself. xD; I figured I could use some of the monster sheets people have drawn for the NTWF Game.

Ooh! The dungeon looks… dank, and dungeon-y!
Everyone's probably wondering: Do you have an idea when you'd like to release an alpha? I'm not talking about a specific date (personally), I mean, say, after that dungeon boss is finished.

Thanks! ^_^ I've already decided that i'll be releasing an alpha version after I complete the third dungeon - perhaps a little more. The game contains 8 dungeons in total, so that would be a nice chunk for you to play through. =3

*scratches chin* Is that one of my monster designs? =D
Random observation: I love the look of the treasure chest. ;D Are there going to be golden/jewel encrusted versions for rarer treasures? =D=D

That looks really cool Strife! =D I especially like how the monsters have attacks that keep you on your feet all the time because some games where you kill monsters are a bit mindless.
Keep up the great work! ^^

Um, this might be a bit stupid (I feel like a newbie again XD) but . . . is there anyway I could help in the game aside from beta-testing? (Plus, I would love to help Ikkin regain her memory.)
. . .
XD
Memory all alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days, I was beautiful then I remember the time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again . . .

So, if you have a decent microphone and want to give it a shot, be my guest. ^_^ As a general rule of thumb, characters in the game will have the following voice effects: - 1-3 sounds that play randomly when a character attacks or swings their weapon - A sound that plays when a character is hit - A sound that plays when a character dies If there's enough interest in doing voice effects, I can post a list of characters that I don't have voices for. EDIT: Actually, revealing character names might spoil the plot a little... so I could post a list of the -types- of voices that I need. xD;

Example clips of what, exactly? XD; Me doing battle grunts, or just my voice in general? If it's the latter, this is from a couple months back, but it's me trying to do different voice types. Though some of them might be kinda weird-sounding. (The first one's my regular voice, if you're curious.) If it's the former, I could go grab those old things I recorded for the GW movie, but those were with a worse microphone, so they wouldn't be as good sound quality. XD; (And I can't record any new ones ATM 'cause my mom's in the other room and she'll look at me weird if I start grunting like death in front of the microphone, so...)

Example clips of anything, really. ^_^ How bad of a quality are the GW clips? If they're only a little bit fuzzy, I have a program that might be able to remove some of the background noise. The same program also allows me to alter the pitch and speed of sound effects, so if you're aiming to voice a character with a deeper or higher-pitched voice, I can assist you with that. =3 Those are some good examples. Looks like you've got some variety under your belt. ^^ If you want, you can take a swing at some quick, random voice clips (which can be either grunts or short sentences) and i'll see if I can play around with them. I'll post here again as soon as i'm able to think of some specific clips that are needed.
