Don't know how I'm going to do this during college this year, but... I've got two ideas (which is why the thread's called Split--though I may use it anyway) The first is one that I've sort of already started on, but I may just end up going for word count instead of trying to begin and finish a novel in that word limit. It's one of those 'Kid gets attacked by a werewolf, turns into one, and adapts to their new life while something majorly bad is going on'. Though right now it almost sounds like a different version of Bad Moon Rising (it's right here, if you wanna look it up) The other is something that I picked up from a sort of friend. Starts off with a cliche: arranged marriage and the girl ends up falling for the guy. However, there's a major twist. This guy is the King/Emperor of the land, and he's a bit of a despot/tyrant. Girl is against that, knowing what's really right, but falls for him anyway while keeping her beliefs. I don't know whether or not he's going to turn good at the end (thus making a new twist but not finishing the story) or just making him stick with what he was doing and force her to kill him in the end. ...

Mmkay, I'm deciding to work on a story that I have been for a while now. Only I'm only going to count the words that I'm just now typing up instead of the 20k I've slowly built over the years. XD Here is the newest part, which shouldn't really have any spoilers unless it was going to be published and go on the bookshelves tomorrow or something. He smiled warmly at me, setting me off guard. I had expected whomever they sent to be more formal with me, even if they were treating me unbelievably well. Even though I’d realized that I was not hallucinating at all, sometimes I had my doubts. I mean, I felt as if I were some Mary Sue that everybody loved or something.
