Gwin raised her eyebrow at Kazic.
"The thing is, Kazic," she said, clearly offended. "The sanctuary is only for residents of the forest--and their friends. My friends do not threaten me."
Terrence twittered his agreement.
"Shall I?" he asked his mistress.
"Indeed," Gwin replied.
Terrence dropped Gwin on a nearby branch and began circling the two white trees, his speed increasing every second. Soon he was a scarlet blur, racing around the entrance to their safe haven.
Finally, after over a minute of this breakneck-speed flying, he slowed to a stop.
"It is done," he said mysteriously. "You all may enter. Even you, Kazic. But as Gwin and I have the power to let you in, we also have the power to banish you from the Sanctuary. So be warned."
And with that he picked up Gwin, flew between the white trees, and was gone.

Lyrra rubbed her itching nose and walked between the two trees. 'Argh. This sort of magic always gives me a headache. I- Oh. It appears I am in this sanctuary after all.' she looked towards Gwin and Terrence. 'What now? We wait them out?'

Kazic shrugged. He wasn't sure he trusted any of these people, having just met them, and was therefore unconcerned when he offended them.
He walked between the trees cautiously, not because of mistrust, but rather due to his past experiences with strange magic, especially portals and similar doors.

Raff tossed one final look over his shoulder, but couldn't see any of the creatures. He quickly stepped into the sanctuary, stepping away from the entrance so as not to bump into Alistair or Lucifer.

"Good," Gwin said, seeing most of them in the Sanctuary. She assumed the others would soon follow. "Welcome to the Sanctuary, everyone."
The Sanctuary... It was a weak term for such an impressive haven. They had been transported to a series of underground tunnels--but they were like no other tunnel or cave in the world. They were continuously well-lit (due to a combination of faerie and dragon magic), and the ceilings were several hundred feet above the earthy floor. Many other forest creatures were walking along the wide corridor--nymphs, dragons, tigers, bears, faeries, wizards, as well as odd one-of-a-kind creatures that had never been seen before.
"Last time we stayed in the Elm District, so I expect we can all go there this time," Terrence said matter-of-factly. He surged forward with Gwin still on his back, so that among the sea of land creatures walking through the hall he was a tiny speck of scarlet, but he stayed close enough to the others so they could follow.

Lyrra followed Terrence, her violet eyes fixed on the small speck of scarlet. She didn't want to get lost in such an odd place. The crowds made her nervous.

Raff tore his eyes away from the entrance and hurried after the others. (Yay for uselessness!)

After staring at a tiger he thought he recognized, Kazic suddenly noticed he was alone, and looked for the others, spotting Lyrra from a distance, running after her.

((Minor godmode))
Lyrra noticed Kazic running after her, and gripped the scales tightly. the lighter side of the pendant went up slightly, sending a lilac puff invisible to all but Lyrra towards Kazic. Seeing the large cat suddenly speed up, Lyrra continiued jogging after Terrence.

Kazic noted that, although they were farther along than he was, he was running faster than the others, and mentally boasted about how fit he was. (He has an ego, it seems.)

((Hello yourself.))
Lucifer followed Terrance, flying as close to the little bird as he could. Being underground made him jumpy, even if the caves were as big as these ones were. "How far do we need to go?" he asked, not really directing his question at anyone.

"I would have thought just being in here would have made us safe, what with that mystical entrance and all." Kazic replied, as he neared them.
