OoC: No worries. ^^ I'm not really worried about jumping into the role play. Slow gives me time to think of what to do next, 'kay? ^^

Sun Chaser was silent as she tried to make his job easy. He shook his head, "No, you will have a comfortable nest, like the rest of the wolves that lived here before you ventured within these bounderies." He felt she deserved just as much respect as any other wolf that may venture. As she continued, he nodded with a smile. "Hunting here will be complicated for you, I have a feeling," he stated, staring in the direction she was, "The biggest game I've gotten around here in awhile has been rabbits, but two of those are very filling, to say the least."
Then the question he'd been dreading surfaced and he had to force himself to keep his own mind to himself. Emotion was something of a weakness to him and his former pack, and showing them freely just happened to be one thing an alpha never did. But for most others, especially pups and females, there was no problem about it with him. He shook his head, slightly, turning in a completely different direction. His amber-gold gaze seemed to sweep over everything, slowly, as if he were contemplating what to say. After a long, and awkward, silence, he finally spoke up.
"There is no pack any more," Sun Chaser said, keeping his pride high. His chest was puffed out as if he were holding back torrents of tears from falling, his cloudy eyes being the only sign he was about to break. "The pack left long ago, many moons before now. I have been alone here since I was two, learning, training, living. You are the first wolf in two years and three moons to step into my homeland and talk with me. I allowed my excitement to overwhelm my senses, and assumed you would stay without even thinking, and for that I am sorry. You are as free as the wind itself, and I could not ask you to lock down and rest here, when it is so obvious you have things to do before you settle down." The male nodded, more to himself than anyone. Turning, he looked at Moonlit Runner, eyes clear, and flowing with a strength no other could hold as hard as he did. Loyalty and love for his territory were strong bonds to the land, and he would never betray what little he still had. "Let us hunt," he continued, stepping to one side and pointing his nose in the direction he desired. "The rabbits are usually very good that way."
