I haven't roleplayed in a long, long time. ;D I bet nobody will want to join, but it's worth a try. Also, I'm open for roleplaying at any time over PM, but I usually stick to neopets/obscure things I made up. Premise: This is a just-for-fun roleplay with no predetermined storyline. It will develop one as time goes on, but right now anything goes. Anyone can join in with any character, although I would prefer mostly neopets characters. If I get any takers, I'll be starting with Pemero, my silver Kougra cub. You can decide the setting and situation.

The war had raged on for months, with neither side gaining appreciable ground on the other. From the day he had first showed up on the scene of Neopia, Dr. Sloth had made Kreludor a target of choice, that it could be a stepping stone to mount a full invasion of Neopia. The moon had fallen easily to Sloth's might, and the native grundos were enslaved to fight Sloth's war against Neopia. But then something happened. The Space Faerie emerged and Sloth was banished from the star system.
In the following years, the grundos had rebelled against Sloth's loyalest minions, who in Sloth's absence could not control Kreludor. Hence the moon became liberated, the inhabitants once again free. At least for a while.
However, Dr. Sloth did not give up his dreams of conquest so easily, nor did he forget past defeat. Sloth wanted revenge.
One night, a small fleet of spacecraft landed on the dark side of Kreludor. There was no warning, no time to prepare a resistance. Within hours Sloth controlled key points across the moon, poised to once again throw the native grundos into shackles. Doctor Frank Sloth had returned.
But Sloth had miscalculated. This time, the grundos were not completely unprepared. A small, secret network of elite grundos from the previous revolution had been formed in anticipation of just such an invasion, and even as Sloth won victory after victory, they prepared a counterstrike. The battle was soon to be joined.
***
Fiery bolts of blaster fire tore through the night sky. Kyorgra grit his teeth. The tyrannian kougra slipped from one patch of cover to another, snapping off shots at the advancing Sloth clones. The attack had been unexpected, and things were not looking good. Kyorgra smiled grimly as a clone, being hit by fire from several angles crumpled into scrap metal. It didn't even have time to self-destruct, or perhaps that mechanism had been damaged. In any case, the Resistance forces were fighting well. Victory would have seemed certain except for the sheer number of Sloth clones. For every one destroyed, it seemed three would take its place, and more behind would just keep coming and coming...
