Moira was closed to tears. She was rocking back and forth in her stool, continuing to drink the scotch. She nodded at the man's words, but she was doubtful that this man could help them at all. She tried to put on an astonished face, tried to look confused about the words about elves and dwarves, but she was having a tough time doing it due to her panicky, fearful state.

((No need to bumpeh until it's actually off the page xD))
Luster shrieked as someone whipped a rope around her wrists and she wrenched at it slowly running out of breath. Chaos was everywhere around the tavern and she could barely keep her mind at ease. Regretting what she was about to do she screamed again and hunched down delivering a small yet devastating shockwave to her captors. The lot of them crumpled writhing in pain as Luster nimbly jumped oever them and scurried back upstairs.
The captain scowled and fiercely kicked one of the downed soldiers in the ribs. "Dont' just give up like that! Someone go get her!" Furiously he pointed at Moira and shouted. "And someone arrest her!" With a huff he drew his rapier and stormed up the stiars after the elf.

The man looked nervous and was sweating, but that was on purpose. He needed to make his move at exactly the right time if this was to succeed...

((Heh, true. My bad. )) Moira's eyes were wide as some of the captain's men came over to her, cornering her. "Come with us," one of them commanded, roughly grabbing Moira's arm and pulling her from her stool. "You'll regret ever helping the enemy." "B-but, I didn't know they were here!" she stuttered, glancing frantically at the man. "I'm only the bar maid, I don't know anything!" But the man simply chuckled and pulled her toward the door.

The man stood up. "S-stop!" he stammered, purposefully shaking. "She's not the one you want..." He swallowed to add to his performance. "I am!"

The soldier glanced at his comrads but still held firm to Moira. "Someone take the geezer too. I don't care who's responsible I'm just not going against the captains orders." A murmur of agreement went through the crowd of men and two came forward to drag the old man out along with Moira. A caged carriage waited outside in the dark drizzly streets and several dwarves were already packed inside.
Back upstairs Luster grabbed all of her possessions and crammed them back into the sack. Footsteps were storming up the hall as she wrenched the window open and jumped on the sill. The captain swung the door open and held up his rapier. "Get down from their now wench if you know what's good for you!" He added with a smirk "I know who you are."
Luster steadied her hand on the gutter outside and scowled at him. "Well then you should know what you're doing right now wouldn't be the wisest idea."

Moira frantically tried to escape her captor's iron hold, but to no avail. She and the old man were shoved into the caged wagon with the dwarves, who stank of stale liquor. The cage door was slammed shut and locked.
Moira sat down on the floor of the wagon, which was covered in old, musty hay. She pulled her legs up to her chest and buried her face in her knees, close to tears. She knew she was doomed.

The old man patted Moira on the back. "There is still hope, though mere threads of it there may be," he said gently.

The captain simply shurgged and started pacing forward rapier still draw. "I don't care honestly. Now you can come forward and turn yourself in quitely or we could do it the hard way."
Luster just scowled aqnd placed both hands on the gutter, "I like a challenge sometimes." And with that she lept out from the window and fell quickly through the cold, drizzling rain and landed in an inhumanly light manner upon the mobile prison in the streets.

"I am called Harryd," the man replied. "That is, when I am not called 'old man' or something worse."

Moira smiled through her tears.
"Nice to meet you Harryd," she said, sticking out her hand to shake his. "My name is Moira."
Suddenly the girl who had seemed to helpless and scared not ten minutes ago landed atop their cage.
"What on earth?" Moira mumbled, astonished.

With astonishing quickness for his age, Harryd got out a quarterstaff and narrowed his eyes at whoever had landed on top of the cage.

By now the guards had swarmed around the captives a bit befuddled at what had just happened. Luster took a brief moment to calm her nerves and relieve her building anger then agiley swung down and snapped the lock off the cage before any of the soldiers could react.
