Fluffluff Meetup: Day 3 (Sunday 14th)

Just me writing this one, since Scar's on his way home to KK. Anywho, Valentine's day. It was a rather long day and it started in the most perfect way. The two of us woke in each other's arms, just as we had fallen asleep, and he kissed me good morning. We lay in bed for ages just snuggling and talking quietly about this and that, still not quite daring to believe we were together.

I got up first and showered fairly quickly, then made our room nice and tidy. Scar came back in, looked around at the now made bed, ordered clothing and objects and was like "where's my grey shirt?". Note to self, don't move his piles of crap because then he can't find anything. Honestly, he's as blind as I am! Anyway, ABRUPT AUNT MARIA told us she was off to the train station to collect Auntie Rose so we nommed some breakfast and then the two Aunts arrived back.

Aunt Rose wasn't at all like Maria. She was quiet and seemed to be quite stern, but later on I realized that she really has a heart of gold. Not that Maria doesn't ... you get what I mean. We quickly packed my bag with our daily stuff and headed on the train to the city. We stopped at Federation Square which was supposed to be the tourist hot spot, but which ended up being quite boring. The two women left us alone and we ended up buying some drinks from a 7-Eleven and sitting on the steps to enjoy the day and each other's company.

A while later, must've been about an hour, we found his aunts again and jumped on the tram. We took a city-circuit to see where everything was during which time I got very dehydrated and started feeling slightly sick. Scar stayed beside me the whole time and let me lean on him for support whenever I felt dizzy. Eventually he secured me a seat and stood next to me, holding my hand as I leaned my head against his side.

We managed to navigate our way off the tram through the crowd (I'm nervous of crowds so Scar was a wonderful guide) and had lunch at ... KFC. -_- Yeah, good 'ol chicken. xD Anywho, after that we decided to have a look around Chinatown and revel in the Chinese New Year festivities. There were masses of crowds and all I really wanted was a drink, so we got in a cue at a stall which sold sugar cain juice. Scar bought us one cup to share but I could only drink a few sips. It was far too sweet for my taste. The poor guy dragged me around for ages trying to find a place to get me some water and eventually we came across a fancy place we thought might be the reception of a hotel.

We hung around in the basement, giggling about how naughty we were and he got me some water. That plus the air con was all I needed to get my spirits back up again and we were soon making silly jokes with each other. Eventually it was time to grab Auntie Rose away from the noodle stalls and head home again.

That night we shared a lovely dinner and watched a bit of the Olympics before I got too tired and Scar said goodnight to his aunts. We trotted off to bed where I flopped over and was ambushed by my man. He sat down next to me and started rubbing my shoulders, not saying a word. Oh lordy, I sank so far into the pillows ... I got the best back rub of a lifetime and after he was done soothing away my back ache, we snuggled. (yeah, we do a lot of that. xD;)

Sadly, later that night I had what would be one of many pain fits. I woke up sometime in the night, my shoulder aching and burning and my head spinning with dizziness and nausea. I don't remember much of what happened, but I do remember that Scar woe up pretty fast and was quick to realize what was going on. He held my hand (the good one) and stroked my hair, whispering to me to keep me calm. I don't remember any of what he said, only that he was there and I clung to him so tightly. In the morning we were both exhausted, but one good thing came out of that night ... if a man can see me at my utter worst, see me whimpering and writhing, disoriented and semi-delusional ... if he can see all of that and not be afraid of caring for me ... if that isn't love, then I don't know what is.

Fluffluff Meetup: Day 4 (Monday 15th)

My turn to write the meetup events and this day would turn out to be quite pleasant.

And what better way to wake up than to the snuggles of my dear snugglefox, which turned into an impromptu make out session but I'll spare you the mushy details x3

We eventually crawled out of bed and prepared to go out. See, the plan was that we would both accompany Aunt Rose back to her home in the countryside via train. Of course, having snuggled for so long in bed we had very little time to pack our clothes along with a short breakfast and a quick shower. Having packed for the night, we left for the train station in Aunt Maria's car.

Having bought our tickets we sat down at the platform and waited for the train, which happened to be running a little late. While there, I fiddled with Sarn's guide cane (she doesn't really need it to get around but still handy to have on hand) and got the skin on one finger pinched hard when two sections snapped into place ;__;

Anyway the train finally arrived and we hopped on to find a seat. It was about then that Sarn started to have a small panic attack and I held her close to reassure her and calm her down (Aunt Rose sat in the seat in front of us and didn't realize). Things only got worse when at one of the stops whole groups of school children climbed aboard. Like any teen their age they were noisy and it just contributed to the stress level. I may have acted calm then for Sarn but my nerves were frayed, torn between wanting to shout at them and care for Sarn. Not to mention it was a 3 hour train ride.

Thus I was relieved when we finally got to our stop and none too soon too for another group of school kids hopped on board behind us. Yay for Mondays -_-

Moving on, my cousin Juvita was there to pick us up in the car. As we drove through the small town, I grinned to myself because most of the mental images I had of the stereotypical sleepy town unfolded right in front of me. It was amusing for some reason. Anyway, we stopped by at the local mall because I was curious that they had a mall in the town; I'd been living in a big city for a while where larger 'mall's were common.

Oh, and btw my cousin and Sarn totally ganged up on me! They hit it off right from the start and started tag-teaming to tease the poor boyfriend/cousin because he's the only boy. Not cool! >_>

When we got to the mall, I discovered that it housed an EB Games store ... which I drooled over. See they don't have those back in Malaysia and all those games on sale ... @___@ ... of course that set off another round of teasing as we sat down for a cup of coffee. It's not fair! I'm the cousin! She should be siding with me! D:

*coughs* After we finished we decided to stop by at the nearby store for groceries as well as to buy Sarn a new pair of sunglasses. She ... well I kinda made her drop her last pair and it got scratched =/ Oh! We also got a whole 6 pack of V, an energy drink got me addicted to (SO GOOD) xD

Much sadness ensued when we got out for the EB Games had closed while we were doing the groceries ;_;

Shortly after we got to Aunt Rose and cousin Juvita's home. Sarn and I were poofed but after helping to unload the groceries we were pleased to find a fluffy kitty and some birds waiting :3 Sarn loves birds and fussed over them while I tried to get the kitty to play with me ^-^

Not long after we were shooed out into the cozy living room while my aunt cooked us dinner. Sarn and I found an organ in the corner and sung songs from the song books sitting on top of it ^_^ Cousin Juvita wandered in and actually joined in. She loves composing music and Sarn and her started singing together while I watched and listened.

Also Sarn took that opportunity to make me mew and purr in front of Juvita. Cue girly giggling and me begging pathetically. I should never have told Sarn my weak spots -_-;

Dinnertime came and we had a good one. Sarn and I were quite cheery and talked a lot during dinner, mostly because Aunt Rose and Cousin Juvita were very friendly and chatty and made us feel at home. Also they weren't abrupt >_>

Once dessert was taken care of we retired for the night. Sarn and I were to sleep in my cousin Tanya's (she moved out and was too busy to come and greet us that day) old room and I could tell it was lived in. The room really did tell the story of the person who lived in it so we were a little uncomfortable messing about in it xD But shortly after we settled down and cuddled and had our little private snuggle fest (we do that a lot as Sarn said xD) before saying good night to my aunt and cousin and turning off the lights

I was given a sleeping bag on the floor but I could sense Sarn was tired and in need of cuddles so I joined her on the most comfortable and soft bed. There we lay in each others' arms, slowly drifting off to sleep

Juvita's own music was hand-written sheets with song lyrics. We sang a lot together which was awesome.

The purring mentioned was the two of us snuggling on the couch. I was squished in behind Scar's back so I was giving him a backrub while we chatted with his cuz, and he started purring quietly ... so I was like, "Hey, Juvita, check this out ... *scratches Scar's ears*" and he was all "Mew! *whimperpurr*" xDDDDDDDDDD I don't think she'd ever seen her cousin so pathetically smitten (they haven't been around each other since he was a kid)

The evening pillow talk was really nice, actually. I don't remember what we talked about in the darkness and snuggles, but I do remember that it was special.

I wasn't really sure if this should go here or Sarn's diary but this is the closest I reckon.

See, Sarn and I have been having a pretty rough couple of weeks. I've been away and out of contact and she's had IRL issues to deal with. It came to a point where our relationship suffered a few bumps in the road and the ship came close to ceasing to be. I won't go into the exact reasons but basically if any of us seemed moody or troubled this was why.

But we finally sat down, talked, made some big decisions and I'm happy to say that the Scarn ship is sailing better than ever. Things are starting to look up too with everything falling slowly into place so we have our fingers crossed that, in a couple of months, we'll be together ^_^

Clarification, the relationship actually did end, and for a reasonable amount of time, too. It was mostly my doing, since things just seemed too conflicted. But, as Scar said, we're back and better than ever and we owe you guys heaps of updates!

Application Process

Scar and I have both been accepted for Ilam Apartments. We'll be moving in with 3 others, two guys and a girl, and we might get a sixth in. I've been to visit the complex and picked out the apartment and it is really lovely.

He's also been fully accepted for study in the second semester. All he's got to do is respond to accept the two offers. He's also forwarding both acceptance letters to the Foundation who're dealing with his scholarship.

Speaking of, his application has been short-listed for their meeting early next month so hopefully he should her back from them soon afterward. His father has regular contact with the foundation so we'll hear about it before we see the actual paper.

Meetup Write-up

During our break it was far too painful for either of us to even look at the Google Doc where we're writing it, but the next day is almost done and hopefully I'll post it tomorrow or tonight after my grandmother's funeral.
