Kalina sighed at the situation. [glow=blue,2,300]"We figured it was Corpolat. We were hoping we weren't right... But at least it's been confirmed. We've already taken steps to destroy the beast once and for all. We're not underestimating Corpolat. Those who have in the past have already fallen prey to his jaws."[/glow]
Having finished, Kalina looked at her paper again. [glow=blue,2,300]"No other news from Drake then. Now then..... There have been sabotages on our siege equipment during the battle. Do you know whose those are the work of?"[/glow]
---
Starla was silent for a another moment. "Non-friend-wise... Are you so certain of something that hasn't happened?..."
"Yes," Reina said, shooting Starla a look. "I'm rather bad with friends, see. It's better if I don't have them. Besides, it doesn't look like you've made any friends... Other than that creep Sigilvass."
"Maybe I haven't... When it comes to those I've met in the Shadow World today... I keep bumping into you and Sigilvass. That doesn't mean I like Sigilvass, and I don't know what to think of you."
"Do you want me to stab you? Will that make you hate me? I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to do the mission I've been assigned and I'm not going to let... A simple friendly conversation impede an assassination."
"Okay, okay," Starla said, holding her hands up. "I'll still come with you on your mission."
"If you wish," Reina said, sighing.

Sigilvass lifts his head up at the words that came out of Kalina's mouth.
"Sabotage? Not my thing, exactly. and I don't know many who know how to do it. Now is any of the equipment blowing up incinerating everyone in a twelve foot radius? I can't do that, but I would so like to see it."
He looks up at the ceiling imagining this happening. Than he looks back at the Generals.
"There is a few other things I would like to note. Dragus and his friends, their alive. I saw them in a town Corpolat was last seen in. Staying in character I had to help Corpolat, but to get back at him I call him Coco. Anyways, I had a fight with Dragus. It was really fun. Which reminds me of another thing, I have a request to ask you."

Kalina stared at Sigilvass. [glow=blue,2,300]"No, they were just tampered until they no longer function. We merely asked if you knew anyone who may have done it. In any case, you fought Dragus and his friends, but you didn't put them down? ...Tell us the name of the town you fought them in. Then tell us the request you have in mind."[/glow]
---
"Also, Daira?" Reina started. "I don't know if Sigilvass told you, but you remember the shadow tiger, Corpolat?"
Starla's hand twitched. "Yes."
"Other than being in the hands of Drake, Sigilvass reports that he's nearly at full power. I tell you this because if we run into him, don't be a fool. Run. ...Actually, you may not be able to outrun a tiger."
Starla bit her lip. "I could..." she muttered under her breath.

((Great, now to come up with a name for that darn town....))
"The town? The name was New Woodscrap. Nice town, well was nice. Over half of it is slaughtered now. They most likely left by now, a lot of angry imps think Dragus is his brother Drake. And I did leave him in a orphanage full of dead children... Corpolat's doing, not mine, not all..."
He looks back at the man in the corner than returns to the Generals.
"Really, that guy is creepy... Anyways, my request. I saw Starla. I told Reina I saw her. I didn't tell her where she was. I would like to send my assistant with her to the location, for field work training."
((What the heck? My post is all screwed up, but in modify it's how I typed it...
Haha, fixed it ^_^))

((Silly post errors are silly.))
Mekino took out a piece of paper and wrote the name of the town for himself before looking up at Sigilvass.
"We grant your permission. We will send Reina and Daira out as soon as I'm done training Daira. In the meantime, we will send a scout out to keep an eye on her. Now then, the town you told us of..."
Mekino seemed about to say something, but he stopped, so Kalina picked up.
"So, what I'm hearing is that you did nothing to lead the tiger away from the children as they were murdered?" Kalina asked, visibly irritated.

"I couldn't break character. I tried to get a couple of them out alive, but he managed to snatch them up from me. He would than thank me, thinking I brought them. The last child I tried to get away was all ready attacked by him. When he died he let out a terrifying scream, and Corpolat wasn't even near him. This is what drew Dragus to us. Corpolat fought one of his friends while I dealt with Dragus. A crowd started to form outside so we got out of there. Right now Coco should be sleeping peacefully at Drake's castle."
He sits there for a few moments.
"Send a scout to check on Starla? She's not there.... Well whatever." "She's in Old Brightgrass. It's about a one day walking trip from New Woodscrap. She seemed to be going in the direction of Woodscrap."

The Generals stared at Sigilvass wordlessly.
---
"Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of people aren't able or willing to kill the tiger. I'm sure I can't. Sigilvass either can't, won't, or both. Heck, even the Generals are reluctant to face him, and I know they're more powerful than him."
Starla had a very firm grip on her chair, and she only nodded.
"Starla managed to kill him before. Aside from him coming back, he did kill her, turned her into a shadow, and etcetera. Could she kill him again? Frankly, I don't know. But she may not live long enough for the answer to that question to come."
Starla had a lump in her throat that she decided to start clearing... by coughing.
"...Take your time," Reina said.
---
[glow=blue,2,300]"You still could've done better to save them,"[/glow] Kalina reprimanded. [glow=blue,2,300]"Whatever others may think of us, we do not condone murdering children without the best of reasons. Now then, the information you provided us is of significant use. We will send two scouts; one to each village, and I'll do everything I can to find a good location for the portal."[/glow]
Mekino stood up. [glow=red,2,300]"Unless there's something else, I think we're done here."[/glow]

"Oh, another thing. New Woodscrap is a imp village. Wood imps to be exact, there are water imps in the river and they fight every day. Also I actually would like a drink... The guard outside refused to get me one. I even told him he could get me bog water or something and I would drink it. I haven't had a drink for hours..."

[glow=blue,2,300]"We'll keep that in mind,"[/glow] Kalina said. [glow=blue,2,300]"And don't expect the guards to get things for you; that's not what they're paid to do. You have full access to the cafeteria that we have as does everyone else, and nothing will stop you from going after we're done. Now let's return to the others."[/glow] --- Starla finally finished coughing and looked up at Reina. "Then who will kill him?" Starla asked, still managing to keep her voice disguised. "I don't care who kills him, as long as he dies," Reina said. "I'll have to agree with you on that," Starla said nodding. "Nice as it would be to kill him." "Don't count on that," Reina said, just as the door opened. Reina stood up straight at the General's approach and Starla soon followed suit. ((The other group really needs to catch up. ))

"They get paid? I figured it was forced service and the ones with real jobs get paid."
Sigilvass gets up and follows the Generals, but first glares at the man in the corner again. He points two fingers at his own eyes, and back at the man again. Than he continues to follow.
((Lets see... How much time difference is this now? At least a hour? And yeah, I'm waiting for Cheshil really. Otherwise I might just be thrown in jail again <.<))

((One of the Generals' little lies. ;D I wouldn't say an hour... I was shooting for this to only take 30 minutes. Maybe 40. But yeah, I think we're pretty much waiting for Cheshil. You still have plenty of time to get kicked out of town, or skip town, or not move from the town. I dunno what you guys will eventually do, honestly. But you should decide by the time Starla's done with her training.)) The man inside waved off Sigilvass' glare and continued to write as the Generals closed the door behind them, leaving the 5 of them and the guards alone in the room. [glow=red,2,300]"We have all the information we need from you, and the investigation will continue in the hands of another," [/glow] Mekino said. [glow=red,2,300]"As for the rest of you, we believe it's fair that we warn you now: it seems that the Target has infiltrated us during the battle. Whether or not she was responsible for the siege equipment we have yet to determine. However, she left behind a letter, warning us of continued infiltrations."[/glow] Starla's eyes went wide. "What?!" she thought. Then she spoke up. "Is this the first letter she has left?" [glow=red,2,300]"Yes. It's a short letter, and she has made it clear that she has retreated to a safer area. But thanks to Sigilvass, we now know where that is, and we are sending scouts there immediately."[/glow] Reina looked over at Sigilvass and whispered to him. "I never said before that I agreed. I mean, it's an agreement now, but it wasn't a full one when you entered the room."

((So Starla sneaked into the area, disguised herself, sabotaged things, left a letter, and ran back to the norm. realm? Wow, Starla has been busy.))
"I told them where the person is? I'm confused..."
He stands there thinking for a few moments, ignoring Reina.
((And just finished my Bio homework. That just leaves my Anthropology of Religion, Magic, and Witchcraft work and short story for tomorrow ^^))

((Well, yes, she HAS been busy. Just the wrong busy-work. I can't say I've heard of a class for the Anthropology of Religion, Magic, and Witchcraft...)) [glow=red,2,300]"In any case, Daira, you have permission to go with them, should you choose to."[/glow] "I do," Starla said. [glow=red,2,300]"Then you'll go with Reina as soon as my training with you is complete. Meanwhile, Kalina will pick out Starla's most likely location with the scouts' help. I'll give you 20 minutes before the training, Daira. Dismissed."[/glow] Reina walked away and Starla hesitated before following. "So, what, am I being framed now?" Starla wondered.

((It's pretty fun. Explains the anthropological view on different religions, the way different people around the world view things like magic, souls, death, etc. Like how a Sorcerer is defined as a person who uses magic for evil purposes. So yeah, more entertaining than regular Anthropology )) " So, what, is Starla being framed now?" He walks out in the direction of the cafeteria, taking out a small notebook and scribbling names in it. " First that guard.... Yes... Than that creepy guy in the corner... Kukuku.... Than the ghost of Akouj... Not sure how, but I will..." He continues to scribble names down as he goes to the cafeteria. ((And I'm heading off to bed, early for once, now.))971

((Do shadows even have ghosts? Sounds interesting. Not sure if I'd actually take a class like that. (Then again, my major has nothing to do with Anthropology. ))) As soon as everyone left the room, the Generals walked over to one particular guard in the corner. "I take it you were listening?" Kalina asked. The guard nodded. "Of course we were, as always.""Was there anything odd that cropped up in their conversations that we should know about?"------ Starla and Reina headed off in the same direction, but away from Sigilvass. "Starla came by? Seriously?" Reina pondered aloud. "To think she would know better, and I'm certain she remembers what she's done.""Actually... I'm not too clear on that myself," Starla said aloud. Reina resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "I was about to say something sarcastic, but then I remembered you were new. But if I have the layout of this place correctly, you may get your answer if you keep following me."------ The rabbit in the Shadow World had managed to escape through a portal, and was now bounding around in an abandoned field. It crested a hill and paused before running at full speed towards the wyvern on the ground. It stopped as soon as it reached the creature's feet, and it bounded up into the waiting hands of a female with embroidered black armor and black hair. She smiled. "All without being seen," she said. "Excellent work. Just the confusion they need."The woman held the rabbit firmly in one hand and soared her wyvern into the sky, speeding away. ((Moral of the first scene: Guards are not always stupid. Anyway, it's nearing bedtime. Night!))
