Cheshil sat down on a rock.
"I managed to make it to the meeting place two days early. I was so sure that he would've appeared on my way here..."
He shook his head.
"I said that if I made it here early, I would go and pick up my stuff."
Pulling out Final Frost, Cheshil said aloud, "Time warp... Haste... Future!"
He disappeared.
Within seconds, he reapeared. Now, on his back, was a long bag of sorts. It was roughly half of his size, and went a little over his head. It was thin, and in it were a few things.
He pulled it off of his shoulder, and removed a nice sized collapsible chair, and a book.
The chair was obviously from the future, but the book appeared to be from the same time as Cheshil was currently in.
He opened it up about a quarter of the way in, sat down, and began to read.

((We really need to meet up. I can't ramble endlessly forever. Well, I can. But...)) Starla continued to walk. "Hmmm... I've seen many islands change, but I don't see anything different about this one. Still, I've checked the libraries of many islands, but I still haven't gotten any leads..." Starla shook her head and thought back 3 years ago. "I never did tell them about the dream, did I? Or the generals. It's odd. The dreams persisted for four months after we split up, but then they suddenly... stopped. As if Tylvanias lost interest... No... How could she have? She's probably been planning that for years... Mind, I don't mind not having them anymore. Maybe it means she won't do it now. But it's not like her to pursue something for years and then suddenly change her mind." Starla looked up, finding herself lost. "Great," Starla sighed. "Just great."

((Yeah, I'm finding the rambling a little hard...
We could always do one of those magical 'Three Days Later' things.))
Cheshil flipped the page, and stopped.
"This says... But..."
The page said mythical occurances, and it said that a large Quasar meteor would have landed sometime AFTER the first batch that was used to create the swords.
"Very interesting..."
((Quick refresher, in case you forgot. Quasar is the material our swords are made out of. When forged, it changes color.
This was actually a plot point I wanted to bring into the 2nd one, but it might work even better right here.))

((Even if I do find Cheshil, Dragus will have to meet us, and for him, it will take two days. I have a plot to forget about the plot I had with the dream, but I still have the general plot. (Wow, that could be interpreted in so many ways...))) "I wonder though," Starla muttered to herself. "How did I get lost? I remember walking in a straight line..." Starla scanned the ground for any significant land marks, but she saw nothing. "Well, I have two days to find out where I am. I've lost sight of the sea though, though that could be a good thing. I don't want to go on another ship again!" ((Like that'll happen. )) Starla spotted a huge looking tree. "Say... that tree looks familiar... Maybe not..."

The large bird looks at Cheshil, who sits there. It turns his head a few times, and goes back to sleep.
Dragus is walking again, decided he wanted to get to the meeting place quicker, that and it was expensive to stay at the inn.
"Well I bought some food. This should last me till I get there, and possibly some while I'm there."
He starts walking up a trail out of the valley. The sun starting to set.
"At the rate, if I don't stop to sleep, I'll be there by tommarow afternoon."

((And Cheshil reads... Some more!)) Cheshil flipped to another page and stopped. He dropped the book and sighed. "What kind of stupid book is this? A recipie for TACOS? Why must it torment me...?" ((A book that has info about current events, food... What next? Sports section? ))

Dragus continues to walk, it slowly getting darker.
"I wounder if I should use shadow pass... But none of the shadows are really connected."

((Hey, I thought you liked tacos. )) Starla walked closer to the tree, but saw that it was just a trick of the light. But it couldn't've been. Unless... "It must be getting dark." Starla looked above her to see a dark orange sky and light pink clouds. The sun seemed almost set. "Yup. I'm right. Though I don't know where I'm going to sleep tonight. Well, anyplace is better than in a box in a storage room." Starla shuddered and sat down, leaning her head against the tree. "I wonder if the others will remember to meet... We've been seperated for so long..." Starla shut her eyes and thought.

Dragus continued to walk.
"Its quiet... Theres not a sound of anything. Actully, thats the problem. No bugs, birds, small creatures...."
He continues to walk, more quietly and slowly than before. He grips his staff harder than he did before. A low growling is heard.
"Heh, its back... It always comes back. Ever since I found it."
He continues to walk back at his normal speed, loosening up a little.
"I hope it won't mind new faces much..."
-Back at the meeting place-
The large bird's head lifts up. It looks off into the distance, and flaps its wings. It flies off into the forest.

((Cheshil loves tacos... But he's a little bothered by the book. And plus, he can't cook the tacos. )) Cheshil tried to go to sleep.

Dragus continues to walk in the silance. The only noice every now and than is the growl of whatever that is following him.
"You know, you've been following me for nearly two years now, you can stop growing. Besi..."
A loud flapping noise seems to echo through the forest. Dragus looks up and sees the dark shape of a large bird fly at him.
"What the....."
Before he could finish what he was saying, the bird picked him up from the shoulders, and lifted him up in the air.
"Why do animals hate me so?! Why?!"
Before he could start really panicing he noticed the bird was flying him in the direction he was walking. The sound of the unknown creature ended as well, and the sound of other animals started to be heard again.
((I'm zoomin to the meeting place, muwahhahaa!))

Starla's intuition was deep. Not a sound could've disturbed her. Not even the slight swoop of a bird flying overhead. Not the little cracking of a branch. Not even the loudest sound could disturb her.
Starla wasn't asleep now. It seemed as if she was half-dreaming instead. Through her closed eyes, she could see rapidly moving objects and she could hear a demonic voice, speaking words that she never caught. The voice seemed to rise, as if condeming her, punishing her. A figure swooped forward and, as if slapped hard, Starla snapped out of her trance. She looked around her, confused.
"I must've been hallucinating..." Starla muttered to herself. The snap was so instant, that she couldn't calm herself again.
((Actually, that did happen to me a few times...
And that bird must be huge! A pictured him as the size of a parrot. o_0))

A pair of eyes watch Starla not to far from where she is. There is no sound around that area.
-In the air-
"Thanks for the ride, but really, why so sudden?! Huh? Hey..."
The bird lets go of its grip.
"Why do you all hate me?"
Dragus falls to the ground, luckily for him the bird was only flying just above the trees. When Dragus hits the ground, he looks around, and watches as the bird disapears into the trees.
"Yeah, thanks a lot you stinkin bird."
He gets up and dusts himself off, and than looks around.
"I can see a clearing ahead... I better head that way."
He starts walking forward to the clearing.
((Actully, its not to big. Think of the legends of a Phoenix, how it can lift something heavier than its own weight.))

((Ah, things are starting to make sense now! ;D )) Starla was now more alert than ever before. It wasn't possible for her to drift back to sleep now, or even close. Starla decided to use this energy to go a little farther. Though she did find it odd that the forest was strangely quiet, she wasn't thinking about that right now. She was thinking about the hallucination she had, how it had silently crept in and then snapped off after a few seconds. Unknown to her, it was a few minutes had passed. Preferring not to stick around, she walked past the tree. Then, connecting more to reality, she suddenly grew afraid of the silence. She broke into a run, towards a small clearing ahead.

The eyes now gave chase to Starla, a low growling could be heard.
Meanwhile, Dragus stepped into the clearing and sees the bird that lifted him laying down. He than notices a man, with a book, sleeping. He walks over to him.
"Odd looking."
Dragus takes his staff, and taps the man in the head a few times.
