((Woah, that's a lot of history. Is it common or really rare knowledge?
Yeah, what Aerisa said. We'll just hang around till your exams are finished ^^))
Artemis grinned and nodded, looking down at the happy elfling. "And I'm sure you'll make a great water mage when you grow up."
He looked around. "True, the city doesn't have all these grass and flowers now does it? I think we're somewhere near the outskirts of the forests of Ferryn Shilas," he said thoughtfully. The painful memory of the last time he had been there surfaced but he pushed it aside. "Say," he said, gently pushing Divna aside and getting up. "Why don't I get you some breakfast." He winked. "Think of it as my way of saying thank you for last night."
~*~*~*~
"Indeed," Khestrel agreed as he followed Thak across the blood-stained floor towards the door. "I'll go procure us some horses for the hunt ... unless you prefer to stroll through the wilderness on foot."
((Yeah, do a LotR and walk. The latest trend in adventuring XD))

((Underlying history w00t w00t =D)) Divna nodded happily and jumped up placing Nini back into her pack. She grabbed onto his hand and started skipping along side. "We're close to my home but I don't wanna go back just yet. I've never been outside my forrest and it's been pretty fun so far." Conviniently she had pretty much forgotten about all the painful moments from the other night already. Or she probably just didn't want to remember. ***** Thak just waved the idea aside once they were out of the tavern "Ya can ge' a 'orse if ya want but I just end up killin' em after a few hours o' ridin' if you coul' imagine." "Now if it ain't too bold o' me to ask. Wha' crimes di' these Morphos commi' agains' your Order anyways?"

((My brain is an imagination factory. =3 ))
((Used to be a forced knowledge to Morphos(any Morphos not knowing this story by heart were considered low and traitors, and forced by other to learn it), and occasional knowledge to other race(when they had been told by Morphos). But now that many Morphos were raised by other races and the population in itself is growing dimmer, they are starting to forget it. As for other race(especially humans), they manipulated it greatly saying they had drove god away and any other things))
Adeesa opened her eyes. Everything looked blurry. Her head was so painful... She could feel something soft on her head.. what could....
She raised herself on all four, overtaken by a huge wave of pain. She threw up, unable to get a hold of herself.
Aerisa, woken when her sister had moved, panicked seeing her in that state. "Liger, help me!" Both grabbed her clothes in their mouth as she finished throwing up.
They placed her gently on the ground, and she started sobbing as Liger washed her face with his tongue.
"Calm down, Adeesa... You're safe here.." Aerisa said in her canine language, knowing well she likely couldn't understand her.

((Oh, okay then ^^))
Khestrel frowned as he walked alongside Thak. "I prefer not to waste my coin if you're going to end up eating my steed eventually," he said wryly.
"As for the Morphos ... simply existing is criminal enough." The paladin pointed to the symbol of Selbaden on his chest. "We, the paladins of the Order of Selbaden, have taken a sworn oath to rid the realm of all Morpho, regardless of the cost to our lives. The Morpho are barbaric and unnatural, a blight on the civilizations we've strived to rebuild after their betrayal so long ago." We waved his hands out to indicate the quaint townhouses around them. "Their crimes went unpunished before, but no longer."
~*~*~*~
Artemis raised an eyebrow. "You live in Ferryn Shilas?" he said in surprise. "I didn't know there were elves in there." He stopped and bent down to Divna's eye level. "And perhaps I really should bring you home. You've been gone all night and I'm sure someone's bound to be worried about you.
"And besides," he added with a grin. "I had a better breakfast in mind than field mice."

"Calm... Here?" To her surprise, Aerisa heard her sister say those words. She, at the very least, had understood a small part of what she had said.
"Impossible... The Morphos who can understand feral language in their normal form do so only once their transformation is complete... And she obviously isn't.."
Aerisa muttered as Adeesa felt asleep again. "Unless? Liger?" She talked in his language to him, and he nodded, removing the hair from Adeesa's face. She hadn't taken time to look at her very well when they had fought. She examined her face, looking at the scales. "There has to be something I hasn't noticed.."
She turned Adeesa on her stomach, and the missing cloth on her dress revealled what she had wanted to see... The scales on the back... and the sole wing. She walked backward, unable to say anything. Not only was there a wing, but she could pratically see it grow bigger at every second....

Thak rolled his eyes when Khestrel wasn't looking. "Meh. Sensible enough. I dun care wha' sort of abominations they may be to ya. I jus' like the thrill o' the hunt seein' they're hard ta come by these days. Plus they make nice lil' trophies 'bove me mantle. An' funny you should mention 'orses. Tried 'orse meat once. Didn' take a likin' to it. But got some on me foot and got a funny sorta fungus on me nails. Didn' come off no matter how much I scrubbed. That was a while ago though. When was the las' time I washed anyways? Hoo, musta been awhile ago....." Some folk know when they should just stop talking. Unfortunatly, Thak wasn't one of them. ***** Divna sighed a dug her toe into the ground. "Yeah...I guess you're right. But maybe after we can go back right?" She asked hopefully bouncing up and down a bit. Not waitng for an answer she grabbed Artemis' hand again and started running off in the direction of the forrest. "I know where we can get a great breakfast! Nana Laila always make terrific kippers and hash! And has lotsa soft bunnies she lets me pet! She'd love to meet you! I just know it!"

"Oh, dreadful irony..." Aerisa walked away, sitting on the ground. She lowered her head.
"What's wrong?" Liger looked at Adeesa, than Aerisa. What was going on? Wings weren't that rare for Morphos... weren't they?
"When my mother got rid of Adeesa.. She said she was "Unworthy", "Weaker than humans..." But there is only one kind of Morpho with scally wings.... Dragons. The most powerful kind of Morpho that can possibly exist... The transformation of every Mythical Morphos is said to be a thousand time more complex than that of any other races, so when the transformation really kick in... they go through a lot of pain..."
"Most powerful kind of Morpho!? She was as weak as a mole!"
"The strenght of Morphos depend. Some, like me, are stronger in their normal form. Other, when morphed... I suspect, when she will be, she'll be so much that... Oh god."
"What is it?"
"We've gotta go somewhere else! As far as possible! There's an Elf Village close, right!? If there was a young elf, there's a village! We go there, buy some new clothes, and hide!"
"I'm not..." Liger began before Aerisa bit his paw.
"I don't care! No explanation! We're going, NOW!" Too bad for the one she had called, right now, for her, it was a matter of emergency.

Artemis chuckled as Divna led him on past the tall, ancient trees along some unseen path she seemed to be familiar with. "I'm sure she will, Divna," he said, trying not to trip on any roots.
I hope.
~*~*~*~
Khestrel cringed when Thak was not looking. Filthy rabble. "I rather prefer bringing their bodies back intact, Thak, but I'm sure we'll work something out when we find those Morphos." He ignored the orc's grunt and pointed in front of him. "Here's the gates. Those Morpho have a head start on us so we'll have to march hard if we want to catch up to them."

In no time Divna found her way through the winding maze of trees and dragged Artemis into a large clearing filled with homey cottages and a few elven folk performing daily routines. A wide view of the sea could be seen just beyond the northern edge. Bustling past a few usually friendly faces that now gave some uncertain glances Divna knocked happily on the door of one of the more secluded dwellings. "Nana Laila! Nana Laila!" An age worn elven woman cracked the door open and bit but then swung it wide open when she saw the elfling, bending down and giving a large hug. "Divna deary! Where have you been child? Your sister has been worried sick! But nevertheless you're here now. Might I get some breakfast for you and your..." Nana Laila stood and glared at Artemis stoically. "...your friend?" ***** Thak grunted yet again squinting out at the distant forrest. "I really 'ope you're right about this one Khes'. That'll eas'ly take some time to fin' the elves and then ge' outta there. I'll follow ya in but I'm gonna hafta stay back once we find 'em. I 'ave a sorta...er...'ad an unpleasan' run-in with them a few years back..."

Khestrel raised an eyebrow. "Those pointy eared snobs gave you a hard time?" he said incredulously, hiding his amusement particularly well. "Nevertheless, I'm not fool enough to test elven weaponry against my mail." He pointed to the low mountain range behind the forest. "If they do wish to distance themselves from us then they'll have to cross those mountains and there's only one path through; a narrow trail winding through a valley. I suggest we circle the forest instead of getting ourselves hopelessly lost and wait for them at the pass."
~*~*~*~
The elfling must have missed the villagers' incredulous looks, but Artemis, already used to looking over his shoulder, saw them as clear as day. The familiar sinking feeling hit him hard and he struggled to get his hood over his head but Divna was already knocking on the door of an elven home.
He watched the occupant's face change from relief to suspicion and instinctively looked at his feet. "Good morning ma'am," he began hesitantly. "I was just ... just making sure Divna made ... made it back home safely." He looked around and backed away a step, realizing that his fox ears were clearly visible.

Aerisa grabbed her sister by her clothes in her mouth, dragging her outside. Liger followed soon after, unhappy to have to do this again.
Aerisa sighed, before concentrating herself, transforming back into her normal form. Her shouting was even worse than when she had transformed. The worries made the process even more painfull, it seemed. She checked the backpack that had appeared on her back when she had transformed, still panting. Her whip and - she didn't remembered putting it there, the large butcher knife were both in there. There was money, as well, stolen from the man she had murdered the previous day...
"Much enough to buy new clothes..." She muttered, putting Adeesa on Liger. When she climbed on him, he started running in dirrection of where the forest was. Running fast like he did, it shouldn't be too long to reach it.... Maybe. He always was weaker when he was hungry...

Divna nodded frantically as she pulled Nana Laila into her cottage and scooped up a small fluffy rabbit out of a pen. "Ya-huh! That's Artemis. He protected me when I was in Zeromus. But said it was better to come back here." She sighed and dropped the bunny back into it's woodchips. Sniffing the warm air she sighed dreamily. "Are you cooking fish pasties Nana Laila?" "Why yes dear, a fresh batch. Why don't you test one out for me while I have a little talk with your friend?" As she watched the elf skip fully out of view the elder elf woman took a seat on a worn out armchair "Well then, Arliss was it? While I do see your deeds to be noble one must wonder why a,” she coughed lightly. “A Morpho as yourself would go to such lengths as to return Divna home all the way from Zeromus. Especially since I'm sure you cleary remember what kind of history you have amoung Ferryn Shilas.” ***** Thak scanned the open landscape surrounding them. "Yeah, but I know for a fac' tha' Morphos are known for burrowin' if they're bloody fer'l form can dig." He chortled amusingly "But wha' Morpho woul' be stupid enough ta burrow in an open plain eh? We can prob'bly cover the outta forrest in roughly an hour o' two cuz of the shore area it touches. Betta' keep an eye on the sea if need be."

"You speak wisely," Khestrel admitted. "Let's get a move on then."
As they walked the grassy plains, the gentle breeze from the ocean wafting through Khestrel's hair, the paladin glanced at the bemused orc and asked, "Copper for your thoughts regarding the Morpho?"
~*~*~*~
Artemis sighed and looked absently out a window, unwilling to meet the elf's gaze. "I didn't mean to come," he began quietly. "Especially since coming here again reminds me of ..." He turned to face the older elf. "But Mrs. Laila please understand. Divna was in danger, she could have died and I did what any other person would in my position. I'm not like the other Morpho. I ... I just wanted to help."
He slowly raised himself from the stool he was sitting on and started for the door, limping slightly. "Divna's safe now and I don't want to get her into trouble," he said, reaching for the doorknob.

Thak waved it off as they trekked through the grasses against the ocean breeze, sort of glad he was standing downwind to Khestrel. "I really don' have much to say on the topic. I jus' still can't figure out why there woul' be three Morphos congr'gated together in such a populated area. I usually find 'em out in barren areas where no one woul' no'mally botha to search in." ***** "Wait." The elderly elf suddenly commanded plainly as she let out a sigh moving to her feet again. "I'll be honest, I still don't like you, but it's plain to see you sincerely care about that child." She knelt down beside one of the pens and stroked a soft tawny rabbit "Though it may not seem like it at first, she is an excellent judge of character." Suddenly Divna burst through the door carrying a large platter of steaming flakey pastries stuffed with bits of fish and cream sauce. Nini scampered close behind, hypnotized by the aroma. She set it down on the table and grabbed at the nearest one biting at it hungrily "Nana! This is the best you've ever made! Have a couple Artemis!"

(OOC: Umm... I am not quite sure what to put... Problem is, I'm not sure if Khestrel and Thak are in the same area or not...(aka if they'd be able to see my characters) My characters aren't exactly up to a fight right now...
Btw, Frozen hasn't posted for a while. Do you think I should remove him from the list? He doesn't look interested anymore. I prefer to ask first.))
