(OOC: Yes, very cute =3 )
(OOC 2: You know they're running, right?)
Adeesa saw someone jump just above the little girl. She couldn't do much but hope he was friend and not foes.
"Get her safe, quick!" She yelled to him. She had no choice but to pass that way, if she wanted to reach the plain...
***
Liger chased his prey, she was much faster than normal one... Althought the little one on the road seemed like a good opportunity to force her to come to him..
Aerisa yelled at her beast, taking her whip out. She had to get to him, QUICK.

“What in the name of Selbaden is that?!” Sir Sontag started in shock, jumping back as a giant beast that vaguely resembled a tiger rushed past the mouth of the alleyway.
Khestrel shook his head and pushed past the older paladin. “It doesn’t matter! Our target is the Morpho,” he growled rudely.
A figure suddenly ran past them, the edges of a whip trailing behind her … as well as a wolf-like tail. Khestrel grinned wickedly and sheathed his longsword only to draw the heavier broadsword from behind him. “And there’s our quarry now.”
~*~*~*~
Artemis landed heavily behind the little girl. A sharp lance of pain ran all the way up his right leg but he bit back the pain and threw his arms protectively around the human. No, not a human. “An elf?” he gasped in surprise.
Then he heard a roar and his curiosity disappeared. The strange beast was almost upon them and without hesitation Artemis lifted the little elf over his shoulder and started running in the general direction of the city gates. “Don’t worry little elf. I got you.”
As he ran, the creature's furious roars close behind him, the pain in his leg doubling with every step, Artemis cursed and prayed he didn't have to turn into something he didn't want to.

Divna only let out as much as a "Huh?" as she was lifted and carried off. It was actually kind of fun. She watched as the rest of the city whizzed past except for what looked to her to be an oversized cat that wa following at high speed.
Shifting around a bit on Artemis' shoulder she stared at his head poking at it. "You have funny lookin' ears..."
But suddenly her eyes filled up with fright and tears. "Nini! Where's my Nini! My kitten where is she?! Mister stop! I need to find my Nini!" Only then did she begin to struggle to wriggle out from his grasp.

Aerisa noticed the human running after her, and let a curse out.
"AND JUST HOW AM I SUPPOSSED TO STOP LIGER IF A CRAZY MAN IS RUNNING AFTER ME!?"
She shouted, exasperated. This certainly wasn't going like she expected...
***
Adeesa reached the kid and the man... and was surprised to see a Morpho. "I'll try to buy you time, keep running!"
She took out her hammer, and, when Liger was reaching up to her, gave the most powerful swing she could to her hammer, aiming for his head... If this failed, she was dead meat...

((Will post more after lunch. Don't kill me in the meanwhile ^^))
As the elf continued to struggle in his grasp, Artemis knew he couldn’t possibly get her out of danger at this rate. “We don’t have time to look for your kitten now,” he said quickly but she continued to wriggle about.
He made a quick decision, hoping he wouldn’t regret it. Artemis quickly ducked into a narrow alleyway, hoping to delay the creature. As soon as he was about midway through, he placed the elf gently onto the ground and pointed firmly towards the other end of the alley where a pile of crates were stacked against a fence. “Listen, I promise we’ll look for your kitten later,” he whispered urgently, the frustrated roars of the beast echoing behind him. “But now I want you to hide over there and if anything bad happens to me I want you to climb over that fence and run.”
Without waiting for a reply, Artemis spun around and closed his eyes. He felt the warm tingling sensation slowing taking hold of him and braced for the wave of pain that would follow. It came soon enough, like a heated blade through his heart. Then just as suddenly as it came the pain disappeared and when he opened his eyes they were glazed yellow.

(Just a note before I join; you might wanna add a Ranger class, mainly for Elves. Basically trackers and archers, and maybe able to tame some animals without magic.)

(Just a note before I join; you might wanna add a Ranger class, mainly for Elves. Basically trackers and archers, and maybe able to tame some animals without magic.) Rangers etc are counted in knight. Also, as I put, these were only exemple, you put whatever you want. And anyone can tame animals if they want; anyone who adopt a cat, for exemple, has to tame it before it becomes a loving pet. It's just that with magic they can train animals that normal people would NEVER be able to. (such as Aerisa's Liger) You can join, but from now on, the rp officially is full.

She had been too slow. The beast jumped on her, knocking her to the ground, before could hit him. If there ever was a time to make a prayer, now certainly was it...
(OOC: Scar, you BETTER save me, 'cause I don't want my character to die just yet XD )

Gerard sighed. Hiding out wasn't always fun, but at least it kept him away from anyone who had the guts to chase him. The rogue yawned and slid down the wall into a sitting position, twisting the hem of his worn shirt. He glanced back out at the commotion that was going on in the streets.
There could be some nice elitists around with bulging pockets to pick, he thought. Making sure his cloak was around him and over his head, Gerard slunk out of his hiding place to watch, leaning casually against the wall outside his makeshift lair.
He bit his lip. Those warriors could have been around to save his parents.
But they weren't.
He discreetly unsheathed a knife from his belt.

Khestrel’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he gave chase, his heavy armour barely hindering him. “Why that impudent – Morpho, stop and surrender in the name of Selbaden!”
“When was the last time that worked?” Sontag said breathlessly close behind him.
“Never.”
“Then why ask?” the older knight asked in between heavy breathing. Sontag’s blood ran cold when he saw the thin smile spreading on his comrade’s face.
“It refused capture,” replied Khestrel coldly, his eyes shining like the tip of his broadsword. “Now I’ll kill it.”
~*~*~*~
He watched the heavy mallet fly through the air, watched as the beast dodged it easily, countering by pouncing on the human and pinning her to the ground. His sensitive nose could smell her fear, could smell the creature’s rage. The pain was dulling Artemis’ senses, slowly but surely.
“Leave the human alone, scum!” Artemis growled in his feral tongue. If the creature understood or even heard it didn’t show it, instead raising a claw to rake at the human.
Artemis howled and, despite the unbearable pain, ran and leapt at the creature’s face, jaws opened wide to clamp down with his sharp fangs.

Divna nodded but was still completely dumbfounded. She wiped at her check with her arm and sat on a small crate in the alley. Unfortuntely amoung her many good qualities of being so young and innocent the elfling was also quite gulliable and trusted everyone.
She watched without a flinch as her savior growled and ran off back into the fray. Even if she did understand what was going on all she could think about was Nini.
But when screams and shrieks rang out through the alleys Divna truly felt scared for the first time in her life. They were terrible, blood-curdling sounds that she had never heard before. She didn't even know what they were but they made her weep even more.
Suddenly, though, Divna remembered what her teacher had taught her long time ago what to do if this ever happened. She thought it was silly at the time but now it was all clear. Standing upright with correct posture she held her arms in tight in a mystical gesture and breathed out long and steady.
It was as if her breath had become some cold wind and circled around her in large whirling gusts. In no time a thick barrier of durable ice had formed around the small elf. It was plesantly cold inside and though it still didn't make much sense she at least felt safe
