Avatar - The Last Airbender Roleplay

I was curious if anyone would be interested in starting an Avatar roleplay, with Bender and Warrior characters. It would be an original character RP, set in the same world as Avatar, the television series.

I'll come up with a start point later, but I just wanna see if this gets any interest.

Excellent :3 And would you prefer the RP was set during the reign of the Fire Nation, between the time of no Avatar, or after the series when (I guess) the nations would all be restored, and Aang would be the Avatar.

Name: Kurumi
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Occupation: Earth Nation soldier in training
Description: People constantly connotate Kurumi for Fire Nation, due to her vibrant red hair. A loyal and fierce soldier to the Earth Nation army. Her bending is good, but her weapon combat is vastly superior, and she uses a combination of the two (earth metals in her weapons, and a lot of other weapons are bendable). This onorthadox fighting technique is generally not very well accepted by the higher ranks, although they're probably just jealous . Growing up in a large family of 15 brothers and sisters, Kurumi was determined to make herself stand out from the rest of her family.

Name: Sukira, or Suki
Age: Sixteen
Skill: Waterbender
History: When her tribe was attacked and massacred by the Fire Nation, she escaped and followed them. Pretending to be a Firebender, she was hired as an assassin and became quite good, because of her skill and accuracy with knife-throwing. She is currently chasing after the Avatar, though so far she has never even set eyes on him. Though she is scared about her waterbending being discovered and feels that she owes no real fealty to the Fire Nation, she has lost all her loyalty to the Water Nation, because her own tribe was the only one she really cared about. When she's stalking after a target, she wears a ninja mask, and when fighting in the open she uses a fiery whip rather than her typical array of knives and poison.

Name: Rena
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Skills: Excellent knot-tyer and trap-setter. She's still learning how to use her father's sword.
Description: Rena was born to a fire nation captain, and a water tribe healer. A year after her birth, her parents were seperated. Until her father died, she searched for her mother with him. She has continued the search for a year or two now.


Edit: I think that the time period when the Avatar was missing would be more interesting.

Skills: Firebending
Description: Ken- a firebender born and raised in the Earth Kingdom. Harsh memories of war made people distance themselves from him. So, he spent most of his time honing his skills and now searches for a purpose.

Well, I'd like to know the general consensus for time period XD My character can slide easily into both.

Ok, we'll start once the Avatar has fought the final battle, and the world is as is. That way, we can derive more creative means of conflict. I'll write up a start soon.
