((And I should've put more Charisma in to make him cool for 'real'))
I catch my hat and flick it back onto my head. "Ye forget, I'm the thi ... treasure hunter. I'll find a way."
I start looking around for any stores. Or a pawnshop. Or a convinient fence. ((Or a place that smells like sulfur :3))

XD)) I shrug, leaving Rhurik to his... treasure hunting and crazy plans. I look around to see if there is anything else of particular interest.

HAhahahaha! XD That was great. Daesta: The man seems to have watch duty or has ADD, he's staring at the city, with almost a hint of anger streaking across his face. He murmers "Wander, if you will, I need to find someone who write. Not you. I will find you, give you letter, then you give letter to leader of town." These types of elves called wild elves (or wood elves) are drastically opposite of the high elves, and especially the dark elves. Their houses and buildings are too simple and it's hard to differentiate shops from houses... assuming they have shops? They wear minimal clothing... and the only impressive thing... is their bows, which look awfully difficult to pull back... Actions ----- Shump: As you wander through Ervox you notice that there are a lot of signs, not of which you are able to read! There is a cool fountain thing in the center, and you notice a large group of men covered in black-ish with picks... many groups of these men coming from the towering mountain outside of town... there are many shops, but this town's iron and stone framework seems to mean that shops are better off inside than out, and you can't read the signs... --- Rhurik: "You find a beautiful shop called 'The Bombadier' which is run by a crazy....crazy... gnome. He has a dwarf helper, female, and a human, male. They both are very cautious whenever the owner is about, he seems more than a bit eccentric and shouts things you don't understand and then leaves... the human and dwarf greet your warmly and you see a huge sign "POWDER KEG!!! 15 platinum! SALE!" There are a variety of explosives here, which makes you feel kind of uneasy with the open flame. Shrapnel bombs, Firebrand Bombs, Smokepowder bombs, including a new gun they call the 'Gnomish Longbarrel' which has an eyepiece to go with it, a very long long long rifle, and it's collapsible... you really don't see how a gnomw could use it though.

((Ooh, sniper rifle. Pity it's not Rhurik's style. Btw, how much money do I have?))
I grin at both the human and the dwarf. "Greeting sir, and lovely miss. I saw ye sign ((SQUEE!)) and wanted to see it for myself. The name's Rhurick and may I have the pleasure of yours, good sir and miss, as well as your employer's?"

Must solve that as soon as possible. Rhurik changed his name and added a C. XD)) I walk up to the group of men with picks. "S'cuse me, but what are you doing?"

Rhurik: I think 106 gp, did you buy anything after the clothes and daggers?
Dwarf: "Yeah, a lot of people have been looking at the thing, it's not a storage device, it's an incendiary... and it's got one hell of a kick. You can also buy the smaller grenades and bombs too" ---- Shump: "Well, we're just comin' home from the mine, havin' a party at the Garrelous Griffon, want to come? Assuming you don't get into a fight that is..."

I shrug. "Um, sure, why not. Sounds fun. Is that the local inn or something?"

Shump follows the crowd into the building where many many men covered in coal reside, laughing, chatting, drinking... it seems that mining is a very common profession in this town, a very fat fat innkeeper serves them all drinks and the pub seems fairly normal.

I take a seat, feeling out of place. "So... I suppose mining is a big thing here?" I ask the group I came in with.

An' we're jus' tryin' ta do our jobs, yeah. Silly arses should move on, what's in that mountin' anyway they want? They hate our smoke! They want the mountain back! Blah, blasted idiots..."

((I think I did buy a few things: potions and stuff))
I nod and scratch my beard. "Hrm, seems i'm a little short on platinum at the moment. I'll look at the other items ye have on sale if ye don't mind."

I furrow my brows, trying to think of a solution without angry mobs hunting us down included. "So, where does all this coal go to, anyway? And you mind if I come down to the mine next time? Just to see what it's like, and maybe I can pitch in if you need some extra help." ((I'm just randomly thinking of a solution. XD))
