I sweep off my hat and grin at the man. "Aye, ye can call me Rhurik and this here is my travelling companion Shump. We saw that ye had some trouble so we rushed here to help. Anything two capable adventurers can do, eh?"

"Hm... I've never seen a dwarf allie themselves with elves too long, same with orcs. Yeah, we've had trouble... the elves want their trees back. I say... let all the trees die, gets in the way of our city anyway. *opens doors* Come on in!"

The city is very advances, with no trace of sod or hay in the building process, the roads are all stone, and many people actually don't look like they live in houses. Several people have set up small little wooden covers outside, or possibly just a cloak and sleeping on some dirt. However, the buildlings look marvelous, many puffing out steam and smoke. The towering castle in the center has a large smokestack coming from it.

I look around, still a little groggy. "Right... so, what are we doing here again?" I ask, rubbing my head. I look to the tall castle. "There mayhaps?"

I clear my throat and cluck my tongue. "Tsk, tsk, ye have a short memory don't ye. We 'were' on our way to Ervox when we saw this town being attacked by a bunch of sods. Nosy forest elves, no offense Miss Daesta," I add hastily. "Now, since we're here why not help out some townsfolk in need. I mean, Ervox isn't going anywhere ain't it."

I tip my hat. "That's the spirit Shump! Now, why don't we find someone who needs our help. A prosperous city has a problem and I'm sure no one would hesitate for us to lighten their pockets for a little much needed assistance, no?"

I stride off towards the city center. "Come on Shump, Daesta, times a'wasting! ... wait, did Miss Daesta follow after us?"

I turn on Shump and look at him aghast. "Bloody kegs of rum, we forgot Daesta!" I start pacing back and forth. "We got to get her out of there. I mean, look what they did to ye! That elf poisoned ye! You'll be scarred for life I tell ye!"

I look at Rhurik bewildredly. "Um... I'm fine." I shake my head a little. "And we just can't go rushing back there; from what we've seen those elves hit fast and hard. We'll need a more subtle approach."

((...Alright. Now this is fun. A half-orc being the voice of reason and trying to formulate a plan while a drawf starts running around in circles. I feel like the Brady Bunch.

And Scar, Rhurik gets my votes for Best Character of this RP. XD))

I scratch my beard. "Aye, ye got a point there Shump. Hmm ..." Snaps fingers. "Ah, perfect! I'll head to the market or shop and pawn ((I was tempted with 'pwn')) off all that junk we got a while back and buy up a ton of smokepowder.

Then, using either stealth or the smile that once captured the hearts of many a dwarven maiden, I'll subtly place the powder around the elves' camp. Then I'll get Daesta out and when we're clear ye light the fuse and BOOM!" I throw my hat in the air "Problem solved for everyone, even the townsfolk. And they say the Rumheim's are crude. Hah!"

"Um... how are you going to get Daesta out without getting arrows shot in every inch of your body? And the stuff we have won't buy enough gunpowder, even if we sell our clothes and run naked."

((Shump is a wet blanket. XD I'm thinking I should throw more points into Int to make him a Smart Aleck as well. jXD))
