Alright, I know there might not be many of you who might like to do this, but it's worth a shot, right? So, here are the ruleses: 1- No godmodding, obviously. XP 2- As with X-Men, it takes place at Xavier's School for the Gifted. Feel free to make your character somewhere else, but just to let you know that the institute does exist. 3- Make your character believable. XP Even if it is Superheros. Give them a weakness, a strength, you know. 4- Play along. You can be as many characters as you wish, just not any of the origionals. It's set 40 years after them, of course. --- The X Gene. The cause of genetic mutation. The next step in evoloution, or a plague on humanity? So many years have passed, and nothing has changed. Mutants live in fear, some from Humans, some even from other mutants... and some from themselves. At the Xavier Institute for gifted Youngsters, things are quite different. Over several years, bonds have been created, mutants are taught to control and nurture their growing powers. The morning sunlight pours in the windows, spraying across the room in rectangluar patterns. A bell rings an echoes down the hall as the clock ticks onto nine o'clock. The day has begun!

A proper yet stuck-up looking blonde boy was walking down the hallway, bragging to some "friends" about his powers. Everyone was tired of him and about how he wouldn't respect everyone else as his equals. Usually mutants were capable of this and understanding, but apparently this boy was blind. He could control fire, a mutation that was not that uncommon.
As he was walking, he suddenly tripped and fell to the ground. "Okay, who just tripped me?" he asked, furious.
"No one," said one of the kids with him.
The boy looked around, frustrated. "But I felt someone's foot!" he said.
"That would be mine," said a voice from no where. Suddenly, another boy materialized in front of him. He had somewhat pale skin, dark hair, and brown eyes. He wore a white T-Shirt, blue jeans, and a brown jacket. "Someone had to teach you a lesson," he said, shrugging.
The other boy growled. "David. You think turning invisible makes you special than everyone else, don't you?"
"No, I don't," said David. "And that's what separates me from you. Now, I don't have class this period, but I believe YOU do. Now, move along."
The boy growled again, but everyone knew he was a coward. No one was surprised, therefore, when he simply got up and walked away. David smiled. "Oh, that felt good," he whispered.
