...for many centuries, they were to live in peace, inside the cloven elvenpine, away from the mysteries of the world...
...numerous long years passed as the enchantment upon their land grew stronger...
...people began invading them, tearing down their precious trees and disposing of them too quickly...
...they were running out of time; their magic began fading; their forest slowly shrinking...
...sprites everywhere, daring to and fro casting spells upon the people, drawing their power from the lost...
...how they trapped themselves inside the Elvenpine, living in ignorance and disallowing all visitors...
The Elvenpine, a place of great magic, wonder, and lust, far in the deepest reaches of the world... there live not elves, but the sprites and spirits of the lost, forever to gain solice within its deep brambles...
Magic is in the very air... death is beneath the soil, yet they do not dare distrub the living...
(no, this isn't supposed to make sense. I suppose there should be some kind of rundown on what might happen: you pick a kind of sprite and do things in the Elvenpine... until one fateful day, far out at sea, there spots something that could ruin this existance...)

(oooh! Sounds intresting! May I please try? I'm so sorry, but I don't understand the whole part about how to start. What do I introduce some character straight forward, like with stats and everything, or ease it in, like in a novel?)

Hmm... interesting very interesting...
I'm in. Perhaps contracters find the forest and begin to make a resort cutting down the precious magical trees and pushing the sprites out of their homes until some of the sprites are forced to confront one of the contracters. But he can't do anything as the trees are already set to be cut down in two weeks time.... *loses train of thought* I hate that... hold on it'll come back... Oh maybe they have to go into the top contracter's headquarters and steal the warrent he got from government or such and then when he's ready to cut down the rest of the forest and begin building the contracter with the sprites asks him where the warrant is (probably disguised) and he doesn't have it...
