Plot: Centuries after FFX, there was a change. No one knew what it was, or how it was done, but a once-in-a-life-time event occured, and it shattered everything still life rotted. Not even souls were found, and summoners couldn't didn't even find any dead to send. It was so unsual and completely bizarre, that the other worlds and places went hectic.
And suddenly, right out of the ashes, a person emerged, and when he arrived, he said he was a Soul Wielders: someone who captured spirits and gained their powers. It was also said they could gain Aeons from summoners who were killed.
Now, a decade or so later, even more strange things are starting to happen: a few people are starting to learn that they themselves can Soul Wield, and that the powerful person has managed to create a race out of such a strength.
{Soul Wielding is also how we shall get a third of abilites. ^^ I'll explain it later.}
