SamMan left my NTWF Trek in search of a "more serious ST rp" 
So I thought it was about time I shared the fun:

Click on the Join button and follow the instructions. You'll start of in Starfleet Academy where your character's bio will be worked upon and improved (this will include your species/race, background history, education, preferred position - medical, tactical, security, engineering, science - and preffered starting ship, which you will find whilst joining).
Then you will learn the many posting formats that make the roleplaying experience remarkable (When to write in bold, talking to computers, using NPCs, asking a GM for results, etc). Afterwards you will then be given a "Final Exam" which will cause you to surf the site of FedSpace for certain facts. Should you pass this, you will be promoted to Midshipman and assigned to a particular ship (hopefully the one you requested). You will then have to wait shortly the Commanding Officer to email you further instructions on how to enter the ship, make your introductory posts and get to work.
Promotions are caused by a points table, with every month of active participation gaining you 200 points, along with additional points being given by awards (RPG'er of the Month plus various war-related medals), you position (if you're the commanding officer of your section - Cheif of Security, Cheif Medical Officer, etc).
I've been playing for about three months, and already I'm Medical officer, Lieutenant (Junior Grade) Deimos Frarg, Klingon-Elasian hyrbrid serving aboard the USS Philledelphia (yes, a Klingon doctor)
